    Loving your Sweatshirt ❤😊

Bummer about the firing, Andrea, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the big bowl and the Aurora, Shipwreck mug on your next Kiln opening. Love Dimitri 's handbuilt creature pot! Happy New Year!

Happy New year. That's to bad about the kiln not hitting the temperature.

I love my manual kiln as well. It's frustrating when it doesnt quite go as planned

I know your disappointed but some of that work is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing

Do you usually fire to cone 7? I wonder if it even hit cone 5? At least if it didn't get hot enough you can always redo it. If it went the other way, too hot, it would be ruined.

I wonder what happened? That did. You out changed the elements right? Definitely re fire anything that will hold food to make sure it’s fully vitrified. So sorry that happened. I tried your ancient jasper and seaweed I think it is and it was on the top shelf in my kiln and it came out almost completely black. The cone 5 on that shelf didn’t even bend. There aren’t enough elements showing on the top shelf. I’m sure they will be beautiful next time. A BIG HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU AND YOUR FRIEND!! I’ve accidentally left some peep holes open and still got to temp. I have manual kilns as well. I don’t think that little bit of air made any difference. Just fyi.
