    Wow, I could use that rain!!! Almost lost some of my blueberry bushes. My raspberries and blackberries are finally producing enough to provide daily nutrients without going to the store. Thanks for posting the recipes. I finally have my own binder but it's always good to have confirmation of successful glazes.

    Hi, I've been watching you for some time, although this is the first I've asked a question. First let me say, I love your work. I was wondering what kind of wire do you use to make your stilts with? And would it be the same kind for cone 10?

    • @Vsmithpots
      @Vsmithpots  Год назад

      You cannot use stilts at cone 10.

    Really like your works being glazed in and outside especially the flat bottom which I do not see commonly. I am attached to a shared studio with a shared firing schedule planned by the owner. So my Tenmoku glaze always came out darkish brown and no 'gold' pots at all...I assume your kiln firing was a slow cool range with any soaked before/after? Appreciate your advise. Thank you.

    • @Vsmithpots
      @Vsmithpots  9 месяцев назад +1

      The slower you cool the kiln the more gold flecks appear.

    Beautiful results! Again!
    The oatmeal you put on top of the others (for example at 12:55) is it the first recipe (2:25) or the second (2:29)? Is it the same oatmeal that turns that purple pink at 9:15. That is such a nice combo of colors!

    • @Vsmithpots
      @Vsmithpots  Год назад +1

      It is the one called oatmeal lizard, it uses Tin Oxide which is why it is so good.
