Embers Adrift is a game that came out and noone heard about because it doesnt have a media department. Best game ive played in a long time. Best armor system ive seen in any game.
Nice games. Although they all look exactly alike, realistic, 3rd person combat, set in a fantasy world where you battle monsters for the sake of that great adventure/saving the world...
It's a cookie cutter society, but a niche economy. If you bet on tesla, but ignore your previous existing ford stock you're an air head. If you test the waters and watch the ripples you may find solid ground, but most likely you'll find more water. Just be open minded people. Don't judge solely off of failures. More like AAA titles that will have a crazy price for a game that barely works and probably in 90% of those games there will be barely any fixes. Not to mention BLUE PROTOCOL has much bigger hype around it than most of the games on this list and its not mentioned here. For sure a list of 2023 RPGs, but hardly best RPGs 2023.
you can't call this list best upcoming when you can't even show gameplay for half of them. they're mostly cinematics. without a release date they could still be cancelled.
