Thank you! Been looking for this exact subject everywhere! I would love more videos on this subject :) I think my biggest problem is related to your 2nd point - it would be great if you could show some moves that you can use to slow you down once you have climbed the pole and are spinning too fast I would also be curious to hear more about it being healthy to learn how to spin?
I had trouble with control during my spins especially being a self taught learner . So your explanation helps alot 🙌🏽 . Now when I am doing pole I have a better understanding of my control.
Gonna try this. I kept doing a combo consisting of like 5 moves ystd. and the damn pole always stopped spinning. Let's see if today this problem won't occurr with your help!
I actually just decided to start making videos again 👏👏👏 when you say move, do you mean how to make it look nice or how to make it keep spinning while moving?
Hi there's a lot of poles that can be both - my Xpole Xpert has a little screw that I can use to lock the pole in place (static) or loosen to become spinning. When I'm learning a new trick I work on static, and every other time I use spinning (cos I like it better). I would say static for learning definitely, but eventually you will want to spin most likely as I think most people agree that looks the most aesthetically pleasing, but they are two different worlds, first you learn the move on static and its a whole other thing getting into that move when the pole is spinning and you have to manuver your body weight differently than you learnt when the pole is still... hope this helps :)
Such a good question. Well personally I would have wished that I had been doing spinpole from the beginnning as well as static, so I would recommend a mix of both :)
Thank you for the tips. I'll try them this week, coz now when I do spinning I'll spin like a madman 😂
I think you are the only person in the RUclips universe that teaches how to control the speed spinning pole from the floor. Excellent work
I needed this very much I just found out the club I’m working at has spin poles and I know static I’m like up trying to take the information

I want to learn pole dance, for my first pole is it okay to get a spinning one or should I learn on a static pole?
