- Spoon everything! The march of mods continues and we're moving on to doing some blue tinted spoon mirrors. Install is pretty easy and adds a nice touch to go with the Electron Blue paint. Another clean install in the books, little Honda bros!

I like the way they look, just wish it was a full replacement.
Yes they are a little bit smaller, but removing the old glass first is the way to go with these. Fun fact: if you hold a light behind the Spoon logo, it's transparent.. So you can make a blue and yellow light behind them ☺️ hook them up to your heated mirror switch and tadaa, lighted heated mirrors ftw!
The one that started it all. Honda civics. Growing up we had nothing. Making $5.75 a hour. Making enough to lower civics and getting an intake. Seeing this is any teens dream back in the day.

That Spoon Convex Mirrors come with plastic suction cup so the mirrors aren’t off centered when being installed onto the factory glass.

Just to let you boys and girls know it does work perfectly fine and looks pretty oem all you got to do is dip in hot water and in the back stick a kitchen knife to remove the double side tape and there you go or… just break the glass off!! And bammm but hey what do I know … your welcome 😪

Very helpful in August 2023. I was going to order these for my 2001 ITR. The mirrors are so small it's hard to see anything beside you so I was looking for a wider view.
You mentioned wanting to get the carbon fiber mirrors but no luck. I’m sure you’ve seen them but just in case you haven’t, Art of attack has them on their site for special order.
I don't have enough time to get them.
I’d be very surprised if they fall off. I know multiple people who use 3m body tape to fasten their 36” light bars to their roof.

This. CTR mirrors are nearly identical to Integra mirrors and look WAY nicer than the weird USDM 6th gen Civic elephant ear mirrors. Bonus if they’re real JDM CTR mirrors they’re probably also power folding which is really cool.

@@Patrick94GSR yeah, I posted that before he mentioned that in the video. Spoon is definitely discontinuing allot of their body parts for the eg/ek/dc chassis unfortunately. But theres no denying that those (carbon fiber) mirrors are way better looking than the oem ctr/si-r mirrors especially them huge elephant ears that the usdm mirrors are modeled after...
Giant fail. You are supposed to boil the OEM so the plastic gets soft, take the glass out, boil again, install the spoon. The double sided tape isn't to put it on top of the OEM mirror, it's to stick it to the inside of the plastic so it doesn't move around because it's slightly convex.

I just got these mirrors for my CR-Z. Did your mirrors stay on? Or did they eventually fall off??? Yes. I think the install is jankie too.
Next time I would flat black vinyl the OE mirror so when you stick the new one on you cant tell a thing.

OEM folding mirror look way nicer than USDM Civic mirrors.

I just did a mirror replacement on my car last night. Removed the whole assembly - “this will be a straight forward swap...” Hour later I had the whole door panel off 🤦🏻♂️

Tip on tape; Use 3M VHB tape if you want to make parts stay on there permanently.
