I really enjoy these little shopping adventures. It is always fun even when we come home empty handed. I would happily take those elephant heads though. I think you need a Baguette embroidered bomber jacket no question. I once immortalized my kitties in embroidered accents on vintage sweaters. It's not weird.😅
Don’t worry. I may end up embroidering Baguette on a jacket, and then she’ll always make an appearance in an episode. And, let me tell you, what an affair it was…
Movie theater row seats + Katy = DO IT! Bridge on a plane = my in-laws on all of their flights. Fun fact: in 1996, at my first corporate job in Tech PR, I was given an office furnishings catalog and carte blanche: bankers’ lamp was the first thing to go on my desk. Looooooove. Thanks for the hang!🎉
Been so busy and haven't had a chance to go antiquing so antiquing with you was just the most perfect timing and so epic! Love all your hilarious witty comments! Thanks for the laughs as always! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
How fun! Growing up my mom collected the most offensive antiques. I would tell her, the NAACP will boycott our house. But she was like, this is part of our history. It is controversial, but it is part of the history of the U.S. I am impressed someone is curating a display. Thank you for the PSA😘
Oh wow, that’s interesting. And makes sense. Kevin Jones says his mother and grandmother did the same too, and I was really intrigued by his perspective about why they’re so important to preserve. His museum is opening is Michigan next year, I believe.
That’s so interesting to me bc I’m always eager to look outside of California and especially in smaller towns anywhere bc I feel like THEY have the gems. I’m still haunted by an antique match holder I didn’t get at an antique store somewhere in Scotland. 😭
@@LaughCryDIY For me, I never find any hidden gems in my Central Illinois area. I think my tastes are to eclectic for Illinois! But I always see amazing items in antique videos that I never run across In the wild!🙂
You have great antique shops in your area. Yes on the fan mirror - are you kidding me! I have never seen one before, love it! I also collect vintage compacts and evening bags, would have bought a couple of the ones shown.
Look at you filled with all the fun facts! That leather pillow needs a new home...like mine, perhaps. That little service set is super cute. The Tupperware, yes! Thanks for bringing us along.
I love all fun facts, so I gotta share ‘em. Probably my favorite thing about antiques in general. Just love that they’re little records of history and culture.
OMG, how hard was it to walk away from that embroidered Tiger jacket? So fun to see all the goodies out there. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. 😻
Great video! You have great antique stores there. The bomber jacket with Baguette on it would be so fun! I would love going antiquing with you, you have so many great ideas and so much knowledge ❤
Did you redecorate your living room? I thought you mentioned a while back something along those lines. You have converted me to the peacock! I'm using a transfer on a table I'm painting.
KATY! So glad to see you’re back in action with the videos. Your LaughCryDIY fam has missed you! Loved this video! It’s always fun going on your antiquing adventures with you. Also, I one kajillion percent support you getting a bomber jacket with Baguette’s face on it. Meow we’re talking! It’s a purrrfect idea, I’m not even kitten around.
My dad collected all the old table lighters. He had probably over 50. You are the second creator in a week I’ve heard is starting to collect them. Too bad I sold them all when he passed away. Everything that no one wanted back in 2009 is all coming back!
I love you & your channel! Absolutely hilarious & thanks for the PSA❤. If you can tell us the prices next time, that would be fab, but as always, great vid!
My grandma had that super old Tupperware from God knows when, but hers was that super duper old green color. Knowing her, she probably bought it knew in the 50s or 60s and kept it like new all the way up until she passed at the age of 90. I miss her and that ugly green Tupperware
Hiya, that tiny lighter, that is an inset for the lighter fuel itself. Not a tiny lighter, wdll I suppose it could be considered the lighter, cuz it lights.....Bon EKA CA USA
Ah I have a little glass thing with my cats whiskers in it as well🐈⬛ Not horrified🩵 oo also, if you want to turn some beverage/tea/food SUPER blue, try blue spiralina powder. It's basically the healthiest super food ever, and it's insanely blue💙 (its really good in a matcha tea blend kind of scenario, just use a milk frother to incorporate)

That. Is. So. Cool. Wow, you were a kitty embroidery visionary. I love that so much.
Not me not knowing what to do on Saturday mornings...I'm here😃
Glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t know what to do. So we have to hang out.
This was a dope ass video, even without Baguette. So informative and fun. "Clearly having an affair but so happy!" sent me. :D

Not them having an affair....lol!

The thrill of a bankers’ lamp-ooh La La. I need those seats in my life soon!!!!

Glad we got to shop together ❤️
I love going antiquing with you! 🩷🎉
❤️❤️ glad we have fun shopping together.
I always see that antique store from the freeway on our way to Ventura & always think I need to stop there. But Marcy’s looks super cool! Thx!❤️
No way! Def some fun stuff.
Thanks for the trip and tips!!!
No scores this time, but some day we’ll come home with something.
We had that Ronson lighter when I was a kid in the 50’s! Great trip!
Ooh cool! I’m gonna get one someday. They’re so well made they remain very pricey.
I ❤ these antique adventures, my fave. 😊
I choked on my water when you said all nonchalantly "They are clearly having an affair'.
🤣😂🤣😂
I mean, they are so happy about it.
Can't think of a better way to start my weekend!!! Yippee!
❤️ More shopping fun!

@@LaughCryDIY Thanks for the information, I would love to visit.
You should totally make a T-shirt that says, "this is too much and just enough " 😊
Yes, I should. Hahah
You're sorry, but you keep playing with her "chi chi's"🤣🤣🤣
This was fun! And educational. Never knew the green part.😁
I mean, she just had them there hanging out. Hahah
Those California antique malls got me jealous! I never find anything as cool as the items in your videos! ❤ ( From Illinois btw)!

I’m awake & awaiting this video.
Time to go shopping together…
You have great antique shops in your area. Yes on the fan mirror - are you kidding me! I have never seen one before, love it!
I also collect vintage compacts and evening bags, would have bought a couple of the ones shown.
Love it. I would love a giant fan mirror. How cool would that be?

Glad you came shopping with me.
1:30 - yes, please!
I gotta do it.

I regret it very much

I love learning fun facts, so I gotta share them. And maybe that Baguette embroidery will need to be in my future.
I am obsessed with old school Tupperware. Love it.
It is so fun. The only piece remaining of the set I grew up with is one sad lidless piece that holds some old something in my parents’ garage. 😢
Did you redecorate your living room? I thought you mentioned a while back something along those lines. You have converted me to the peacock! I'm using a transfer on a table I'm painting.
Oooh yay! I was thinking of redecorating bedroom but on hold for now.
That was fun... Thank you Katy 💗
Thanks for shopping with me.
Loved every minute! So fun!
Thanks for shopping with me.
Great adventure. I think I might have nabbed the orange rug
It’s was so good
Katy! Fun fact! The Oster massage instrument behind the Victorian tooth brush holder was also used as masturbation assistant!
Haha. The more you know…

Ok thank you for that validation. I really regret not getting that jacket already tho.
Looking at those atomic lamps made me think of using a domed antique hub cap as a lamp shade? Great trip!❤
I can totally see it! Some day I do want to do a lamp conversion kit on something.
That tiger jacket 🤩
Such a dream
Bones are bound to be in one of those places
You know I remember where we buried the sacrifices.
Another clever, hilarious video! Yes, you gotta have Baguette’s face on a bomber jacket❤
I still regret not getting that
Do you have a PO box?! I have a whole jar full of vintage matches! Happy to send them to you if you're interested!
Love from Canada! xo
Yes! Will you email me at katy@laughcrydiy.com?

It’s always how it goes!!!! I can’t get over all the “vintage” 2000s things that are back in style 😂
Fun day out and about😊❤
