Great finds!! The little boy has a pipe to blow bubbles, my grandparents had clay pipes for us to blow bubbles when I was little, it was soooo much fun!!
It’s really a skill to make the old look ‘fresh’ at the same time keeping the integrity of the antiques that we all love and respect. Your ability to mix some of the more modern with the old (which always complements both) and make those small improvements without ruining things is just done ‘perfectly’-I’ve been doing ‘antiquing’ for 45 years and it makes me so happy to see you at it like you are. I was thinking antiques were finished as here in Vegas things have taken a nose dive - most all our antique stores have closed and people are giving their antiques away on offer up for free if you just pick them up. Just sickening.😢 I’m so happy that people like you are keeping this important tradition and our historic items of value circulating with meaning!
That cute picture of the little boy with the old clay pipe is a variation of the bubble boy. In the bowl is soapy water and he is dipping the pipe into water and blowing bubbles. The moon is actually an impressively big bubble. 😊
You have such a great eye. I cannot restrain myself to be able to stick to colour schemes, there are just too many pretty things out there. Had to keep pausing the video as I thought Miss Zoe's snoring was either me wheezing, or my cat snoring. The girl has snoring talent! Love your work!
