I enjoy your content and since you’ve gotten into cooking, I thought I’d suggest you get your knives sharpened/a honing rod. It will make your process in the kitchen easier, more satisfying because that will help you to work on your knife skills, and ensure your safety :) hope that your new year is off to a great start
Also a small serrated knife has changed everything. I even use it for bread because the big one is intimidating and I nearly took my thumb off once.
Oh my god iw as just about to say I got a knife sharpener on Amazon for a tenner and it has made me so happy

Well done Taz your becoming quite the home cook. Isn't it fun to let your instincts guide you? Another fun element you can add is when shopping if you see an ingredient you have never seen or tasted snag a small portion of it do some research and make a dish with it. You will many times learn new cooking skills, gain a new favorite dish adding a new personal recipe to your arsenal.

I made friends with my neighbor in France before I moved to Canada and it was amazing.
She was an older lady living alone and one day I had one of her letter in my mailbox. It seemed important (had words like "cancer" and "scan" on it or something) so instead of putting it in her mailbox, because I didn't know if she'd gotten her mail already, I rang and brought it to her.
She invited me in and then we bacame friends. She'd bring me veggies from her garden and stuff. It was great.
It was not easy saying goodbye to her and I promised I'd go see her when I go back to France (I just don't have any money rn)

Freezing holts the deterioration/spoilage of foods so as long as you defrost as suggested and use within 24 hours it’s absolutely fine! Love this type of video and also love when you do the pound challenge/yellow sticker challenge so that would be good. Have you tried the Richmond veggie sausages-fresh ones not the frozen ones. They come in original and herb and onion and both are delicious x

If you freeze stuff on the day you get it, it’s fine. But just remember that nothing will last forever in the freezer, there are basic guidelines online of how long you can freeze things for. Try to wrap stuff well before freezing to avoid freezer burn
When you can’t taste the flavour usually the dish needs more salt 🙃 hope it helps

maybe try and ask your friend over for dinner and cook together?... you learn from each other and make the process more fun and stress free:) for variation make it a weekly thing and switch every second date at each others' homes

Quick suggestion for balance: sleep and wakeup at the same time every day for a week with a morning and night routine and 2 blocks of work morning and afternoon. So you can have time to yourself after work and you dont feel like you are working all through your day. Take 2 minute mindfulness breaks whenever you are distracted throughout the day and practice breathing and being! ❤❤❤
Food that you put in your freezer is fine to eat especially if it's Plant based stuff do not worry ! I do this all the time

I'm not sure if sweet kimchi is a thing, I genuinely only like sweet pickles, so I'm not sure if this is a thing in other cultures, I can only say that I love that you made friends with your neighbor, it's so sweet, I tried and it didn't work out well thank you for sharing and all your hard work ❤❤

Lol as a South Indian you have an extremely low spice tolerance, in our culture that curry would be considered extremely dry and bland 😂 you should try some of our food … your mouth will be on fire 🔥 so stop bragging about how you like spicy food (your food is not spicy by any means it’s honestly offensive)
