    Tacoma is Electric Lime Metallic, which differs from Lime Rush, Car Guy.

    You missed mentioning a GREAT update for 2023...the heated stearing wheel! The button was shown, but not mentioned, right below the push button start button. It's only on the TRD Offroad Premium, TRD Pro and Limited I believe.

      Thanks for pointing that out! Will be sure to mention this in future videos

    The moonroof takes away 3/4" of headroom due to the way the headliner bulges down. The 4runner is already too short inside and taking away another 3/4" is tough. We have a 4runner on order and waiting waiting waiting. Hard to get a TRD Offroad Premium without a moonroof, but I hit my head on the ones with moonroof. Plus, we never use it so waste of money to pay for one. Glad to see this example of a TRD Offroad Premium with no moonroof.

      May I ask your height? I'm 6'4" and haven't had the chance to visit the dealerships yet. I don't want to have my dreams crushed the first time I sit in one, lol.

      @@baylorairbear Sorry to say your dreams are in jeopardy. Ha. I'm 6' tall and can only fit in a 4runner if the 8-way power adjustable drivers seat is lowered about all the way and I still am scraping my hair on the headliner if there is a moonroof (which make the headliner 3/4" lower than if there is no moonroof). Forget wearing a hat/cap while seated or sliding your sunglasses to the top of your head while seated in there. That is why we ordered one without the moonroof. I do have a tall torso (my inseam is 32"), so my torso is probably the equivalent of someone that is 6' 2".
      Lowering the drivers seat all way down lets my head clear the headliner, but then I'm sitting several inches lower than where I would like to see out the windshield and so it's harder to see over the hood. Plus, with the seat lowered, you are sitting lower so your legs stick out further forward, rather than forward and down compared to when you sit up taller (more like a car than a pickup).
      It's not a deal breaker, but not ideal. We still ordered because ours will primarily be driven by my wife. She is 5" 10" but mostly legs and so she fits well. I drive a 2013 Tundra as my daily driver and with our slide-in pickup camper, so we mostly use that on the weekends, but we'll still drive her 4runner quite a bit when we do day trips into the mountains/trails.
      For 2022, it looks like all trim levels have the 8 way power adjustable drivers seat. (Some have 4 way power adjustable passenger seat and some 4 way manual adjustable passenger seat. The 4 way you can not adjust for height, but since it's just the passenger seat, when I'm there, I can recline the seat more than I would if I was in the drivers seat).
      I say go sit in several (some with moonroofs and some without) and decide for yourself. 4Runner are known for not having headroom and tall drivers not fitting. My wife previously owned a 2001 4runner and I hit my head even worse on that one, but it did not have height adjustable seats so I could not lower that seat. I'm right on the border of fitting in current model 4runner. As much as I love the 4runner, I likely would not have ordered, if it was my daily driver, because of the headroom.

      @@MrChadx1 thanks for that in-depth reply. This is the first time I've felt fortunate to be bald! 😃
      Now what am I to do about my thicc ass 🤔
      I'll definitely go test-sit a few and see how they feel. I would likely purchase one without the moon roof anyways, as I like to eliminate as many possible points of failure. I love a sun roof when I have one, but I can do without.
      Thanks again 👍

    And the dealer mark up on this is?????

  • @TRDOffRoad2020
    @TRDOffRoad2020 Год назад

    They never listed the MSRP with markup, thinking $56k before TTL and all other BS. Hopefully I am wrong.

    How did you get a premium with no moon roof?
