    At first, I doubted the professionalism behind this video. Sure the fancy cutting board and the precise cooking temperature and licking technique smacked of pure culinary institute training but the clincher for moi was the fact that even using a super sharpe, serrated knife you had all the original fingers "on this hand". Great job Maiestro!

    LMAO! Loved the humor you put into the video! I've eaten bologna sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, desert, etc. for 55 years but never put jelly on it!! I will be trying it this weekend! You should do one with SPAM!!

    I usually eat fried bologna sandwiches on Martin's potato bread or Arnold Country Buttermilk bread with melted cheddar or muenster cheese, bread and butter pickles and mayo, but I can easily see where the grape jelly would work as far as the whole sweet and savory trip goes because I already love apple jelly on chicken biscuits and pancake syrup on bacon and breakfast sausages as well and I thank you kindly for the video...🤙🍻🇺🇸✌🏻

    OK, so I made a video today called, Boujee Bologna Sandwich Recipe, and I thought I'd check RUclips to see what other videos were out there about fried bologna sandwiches. They've all been mediocre and I thought that I had the best video out, until I saw your video. Amazing presentation. Everything was on point from the mise en place to the final plating. I'm thoroughly impressed. Subscribed! Maybe we can do a food collab video someday. I'm adding this to my 'Best Food Videos on RUclips' playlist.

    This looks like something a stoner would make after many bong hits. Myself, I've always thumbed my nose at the reefer addicts. I prefer the drinky (you know, whiskey, beer, vodka, pretty much any and everything alcohol). Having said that, this video has inspired me to try what I once frowned upon: Da weed. I'm calling up my pot head friend (come on, everyone has at least one) and making a purchase. THEN, I am partaking in making the "World's Best Fried Bologna Sandwich!". I CANNOT wait until I get high for the first time and try this. Wish me luck!

    For years I’ve been enjoying similar sandwiches. Along with the chips I use raspberry jam and a cheese slice but the cheese slice obviously goes between the bologna and the bread, not in the middle with the chips. Or for something completely different…PB and Jam!

    I do mine with a solid half pound slab of Wunderbar deli bologna, fried on medium low long enough to get it steamy hot all the way through then turn up the heat to get a nice burnt crust on both sides, finishing with a 1/8inch thick slice smoked gouda on top and covered till the cheese is fully melted. Then put it on buttered toast with dukes mayo and mustard with a spicy dill pickle on the side.

    Ah, nothing beats a good fried bologna sandwich lol, I use bacon grease when I fry mine, brings an awesome flavor to it, combined with a good pepperjack cheese and woowee stuff's awesome lol

    I hate to ask, but is there some way you could slow motion the part of the video where you are actually using the knife to cut the bologna? Maybe if there were just some way to temporarily stop the video and then start it back again from that same spot, that might help me to be able to see exactly what you are doing. I want to make this, but I want to do it right, so again, if I could see you cut the bologna again, that would be great. Now let me get this right, you can use the same kind of knife to spread jelly AND cut bologna? Wow! What will they come up with next? Come to think of it, I didn't actually see you spread the jelly. I mean you say you did and I saw that it was spread, but hell it could be camera tricks or something. I can't really think of a reason to fake that so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but actually seeing footage would certainly make it more believable.

      I would recommend that you download the Boomerang app on your phone and record from 3:32 to 3:53. Then just set it to play back and forth on loop. Best practice would be to stare at that for about 5-6 hours before you try practicing it on your own.
      I did use one knife for the whole recipe, however I would typically use a dedicated knife for each step in the process for proper sanitation. With stuff like this you sometimes have to simplify to make it accessible to the common cook.
      You got me though, shrewd eye... the jelly spread was done with CGI. There is a fantastic After-Effects Plugin specifically for this purpose called JamTime 4.1. I find that version 4 generates much more realistic clumps than version 3. I tried to find the download link, but it seems like it is no longer available.
      If you do try the recipe, I wish you great success!

    You guys are so picky, fried Bologna is great. I wish we could take some time and talk about aged steak, now that's disgusting. Just throw it away and get some fresh beef, stop trying to scam customers into buying old beef that you should dispose of.

    Yuck. No chips, No jelly just just fry two slices bologna like he showed you here and and serve between two sliced of buttered toast with some yellow mustard, That's Yummy. HOT TIP use thick sliced beef bologna, Yes beef is more expensive but well worth it.

    Brawny cutting board. 🤣I was stunned to spy a spoon rest next to your stove when you panned around. Might I recommend a twist of red pepper or perhaps a pimento slice atop one of the Bologna slices? That way it would look like Pac Man and Ms. Pac man are being intimate. Really enjoyed, Thanks!

    A little tip. Make 4 cuts around the bologna before you cook it and dont cut as far in as he did, about half as long and it wont have that big pac man looking opening or do it like he did in this video if you want the pac man look.
