As mentioned in the clip, it takes time to set up NGOs in the country, which could be one of many delays. For me, his heart and soul are for all South Africans, no matter who you are. No one expects him to be perfect, but his goal is to make SA a better country for all of us. I would suggest giving it more time. ♥

This is the third video by the Daily Maverick today. I was impressed by the first two. Very informative. Then I get to this one, and it is clear ro me why people criticize the Daily Maverick. She is smearing a man who till know has shown that he is a man of the people, care about all the people of South Africa, and not just the members of the ANC, like the leaders of the party!
I would agree with you based on this particular video clip. I listened to the end and was pleasantly surprised at the actual situation. That said, the whole tone and way in which it was initially presented, led the viewer to suspect that no donations had been made.
How about listening to the whole video before writing a destructive comment. Such comments don't support the idea that we all need to hold each other accountable.
