I think the EFF admitted to receiving "donations", but now that the EFF knows it actually was VBS money, shouldnt it be paid back? Technically you can claim you didnt know the money was dirty and then pay it back, then everything should be fine right? because you cant keep the money with the new found knowledge that the donations were made in bad faith
