Not all realities, if he wants to return the death penalty in an unequal society. That will only see the poor who can not afford fancy lawyers in jail. Thinking that the distribution of condoms and child grants are enablers for teenage pregnancy is also not realistic. Does he even know the stats on how many teenage pregnancies are due to rape?
If there are inadequacies in our justice system, I believe we should work hard to fix them, but we should not be scared to take radical steps such as deterring the motives of those who sort to deny others the right to life, by taking their own lives. It may not be the most progressive and intelligent option but it sure will deter those who dare to think of taking a life. After all it's the same people with money who buy those with no money to do the deed, so by not effecting death penalty we are actually affording them a bonus to their deeds as they can even afford not to get caught, one the other hand those without money will not even dream of killing. Overall the lesser people think of killing the better.

Do you even follow politics. Realistically SA will be governed through a coalition. It will be either DA led or anc led. Gayton has shown in places like Knysna, Cederberg and Johannesburg, that their allegiance is with the anc. So in effect voting for him means voting for the anc again.
