  • Watch my buddy Andre and I remove the tub from a Jeep Wrangler LJ and Jeep Rubicon LJ. My goal is to use the Wrangler tub and frame to rebuild my Rubicon Hemi swap that was totaled (watch how I did that in my video titled, slick rock, Hemi LJ hits Tree). Follow along as I put out videos of my build.

I am working on an LJ Hemi swap myself, so I look forward to seeing how your project goes together. I will be interested in your comments about the wiring when you get to that stage.

Last year I bought a 2005 Durango as a donor for the project. I pulled the engine last month (video on my channel). I am still gather parts and will begin to rebuild the engine and preparing the wiring harness over the next phase. I am on a slow build, hobby level pace, so it will be a while before I am ready for the actual swap.
