I appreciate the excellent camera work on this. This should be the standard view for pickleball tournaments. You can see every swing, spin, drive that the players make. Makes us appreciate how good these pros are. Thank you!

Riley lost because he’s such a bad teammate. Complains so much if his teammate doesn’t hit a good shot and pouts. Adds way too much pressure on his teammate

Anyone know why at 16:42 the ref called a let and allowed a re-serve? I did a little research and I learned that let rule was eliminated in 2021. Guessing this game was before that change?
Newman was probably forced to use both hands when playing basketball so his left hand in pickleball doesn't struggle. It's definitely helped me use both hands
After winning 3 games in a row at pheasant ridge I'm starting to get curious about tournaments.
11:05 are there times that a player can step on the line for the kitchen without it being a foot fault?
Is it okay as long as he's not actively about to hit the ball?

Foot faults only happen if you hit a ball before it bounces. You can stand IN the kitchen and not get a fault as long as you wait for the ball to bounce before you hit it.

Aaish gets that stimulants are a problem for smart guys. They take them to study but the only thing that makes you smarter is hours spent working on the material.
Some professors are high schoolers in terms of their social education.
Like aaish says, calm down and work on material. The smartest guy works hard with good habits and knows it in their sleep.

I talked to police in the art history museum in kansas and they support aaishes belief that the student who spends the most time on the material always wins.
I am new to Pickleball, but can anyone tell me why sometimes Newman is 1st server, but sometimes Parenteau is first server??? It seems completely random to me
Welcome to the pickleball community! They are doing something called “stacking”. It’s a double’s technique to allow the player’s to play on their preferred side. Anytime the server’s score is an odd number (i.e 1,3,5,7 etc) They will be in a the stacking position in both serving and receiving. There are some videos that go into depth on youtube i’m sure

Ben Johns is a ball hog. he has to remember that he has a team mate thats playing with him. unless thats something they talked about before the game.

The 2 girls are better players than the dudes especially Catherine.The dudes must not play tennis or something bc they cannot spin their forehands. Riley, oof those push backhands with 2 hands are just about to kill me watching.
