Great match by both teams. Wrong receiver (woman with white cap) at 23:45: In the previous point at 10-11-1, the woman with the white cap was the receiver - during that point, her and her partner switched sides when he hit an overhead. At 25:14 (11-10-2) the man in the gray cap should be serving to the even side after a fault (incorrect server) at 11-10-1.
David really stepped up is game, hit a lot of really good angle slams. Nice comeback by by them all around good match. Would not lob as much personally. fun to watch. 60++ A++
4.0? The lady in the white cannot reset or do a 5th shot drop. She just drives the ball and her opponent just volleyed with angles beating her hard drive.
There wasn’t an error on his actual serve, he was called out because they claim he was in the wrong position. Meaning he wasn’t to be the first serve on that particular serving moment.
One freeze frame? Yeah. Do you just not know the rule? Or are you one of those guys who thinks you need to cheat the serve to beat other people, so you feel the need to defend other cheaters?
lol. Very few anyway. Also very few dinks from lady in pink and white and very few from guy with white shirt and very few from guy with dark shirt. Way fewer 3rd and 5th shot drops to get to the net. Seemed like the average rally length was less than 6 hits. Way more lobs than drop shots. For all that, they were still pretty good.
@@929mmr The lady in pink is not doing many dinks in large measure because her partner is making wonky shot selections, or mishitting balls when he does make the right choice. He had some athleticism for putting away balls above the net at sharp angles, but otherwise, I was holding my breath every time he touched the ball. On one sequence, lady in orange made a great cross court dink from off court in a low crouch, while lady in pink rushed to the middle to feast on a pop up. When the pop up didn't happen, it was an easy passed ball. So she also contributed to her own lack of dinking by assuming the other team couldn't successfully dink, either.
Ref called the incorrect server right but got the second server wrong. The second server should have been the same guy (first server) serving again from the correct position. The lady never gets a serve in that sequence
The error happened when they changed ends. It was 8-5-2 when they changed and the guy should have been serving from the left side and he served from the right. Not sure who is responsible for that. Seems like it is on the ref at the side change to ensure everyone gets back to the correct positions. They played all the way until 11-10-1 before the ref called a fault.
@@jpstenslandI spotted a wrong receiver at 10-11-2. At 10-11-1 the receivers switched sides on a lob and never returned to their correct positions. The ref should have called it then instead of waiting after the sideout.

This is good to watch at bedtime 💤
What stood out to me on this match was the agility and athleticism of Julie Fairbanks at 60+. Impressive.
Nice match!
Good Match
Interesting how few dinks there are in the match. Lots of ground strokes and volley's but not as much dink play as I expected.
It amazes me how much of an advantage that a tall person has since for the them the net is so much lower respectively because of their height.
Thx to pickleball, 80 is the new 60👏.
That dude is 60 ?!!?!

At 24:19, what was wrong with his serve???
Top of his paddle was above his wrist when he contacted the ball. Main reason next year will be drop serve only
There wasn’t an error on his actual serve, he was called out because they claim he was in the wrong position. Meaning he wasn’t to be the first serve on that particular serving moment.
@@h20bearboy65 In the freeze frame, his ball contact is just fine, almost technically perfect.

60 isn’t that old😂
And this doesn’t look like the 4.0 I’ve faced
What does the 4.0 you've faced look like? Post a video.
It's 3.5
it's a 4.0 for 60 plus but not younger skilled
Bang ball.
Impressive for their age!
Several guys in my local group are in their late seventies and playing much of the game at this level.
They shouldn't be driving at two people standing at the kitchen line. Both teams need to practice their drops.
Not one dink by lady in pink

That's 3.5
Not 60+ 4.0 on the west coast, mid pack 3.5. No drops, no dinks, no point construction, ground strokes are 2’ over the net.

Tennis is going by the way of the Dodo bird.
Low 4’s … no soft game at all.
thought 4.0 was a higher level than this.
don't forget that this is at the end of a long day of playing many games, possibly in the heat, so they are most likely not at their best
and it's likely a 4 for 60 plus, which would be not as good as a 4 for younger, skilled players
This is average 3.5 level, not advanced
Don’t look like 4.0 players, nobody can dink! Awful play!
Yea the athleticism and agility in pickle ball is at the highest level. Best athletics in the world; way more than even tennis players.
L Pickleball, i'm a tennis player and could crush these guys in this sport so easily
