I met Sean when I was 13 not long after my father passed away, and he was about 24 I believe. I was a kid with an above average interest in flight, planes and rockets and not much in the way of solid male role models. He was a student at the college my mother worked at, and was looking for people to help pay for air hours in rental planes. My mom introduced us and Sean took me flying twice.. once with 2 of my junior high friends in a Cesna 172, and the second time just me and him in a fully aero capable Citabria. That was an amazing flight, and an everlasting impression of an awesome man....40 years later I still remember every barrel role, loop and stall we did that day over Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz. Rock on Sean.

I'm a former Marine, a pilot, and an Air Traffic Controller for several years at OshKosh, Sun n Fun and one of our coutry's busiest airports. I've had the occasion to shake Sean's hand on a few occasions. He wouldn't know how important his example is to me. What a good man.
Great film about an amazing pilot. Sean D. Tucker is a pupil of Bob Hoover, whom many believe to be the best pilot that ever lived. It is cool to see how humble Sean is regarding sharing his gift and working hard to stay sharp, never taking anything for granted.
I can say now that Sean D. Tucker is now one of my main reasons to try aerobatics when I become a professional pilot. What a MASTER of air he is.
I've met him in person on a couple occasions... great guy and role model.
Being fortunate enough to go to the Reno air races back in the 70's and 80's I've seen the best. Sean and Bob were so fun to watch. I'm lucky to have seen them as many times as I did.

I have to say Sean D Tucker is a beautiful human being I had the pleasure in working with him at the air show in the early 90s very kind friendly and a professional legend of the air I wish the world had more people like this man incredible guy he left me with an impression on me my whole life wish I could say hi to him in person

I can't believe it, I watch the whole playlist today 156/156.... Watching the Air Show at Naval Air Base last month was one of the coolest thing I've ever seen in real life.... Blue Angels and the rest of the planes you guys are just awesome. Thank you for showing this to everybody.....

I just beat a medical issue I don't want to think about and when I reviewed my news over a year ago allI wanted to do is meet him if I was going to leave the earth?
Things are way better now and stable and life is going on still wish I could meet him one day shake his hand take a picture with him would be up there with the memory when I spent an entire day with Jim Franklin about 30 years ago.
He let me help him with his Waco and had lunch with him it was just so incredible and of course we all know he passed away which was devastating to me.
So meeting my my other biggest air show hero one day I hope happens.
He is the best!!!!!!
He's one of the greatest because he has survived so many years. When he fly's in any aircraft he says have to check your ego at the door.
A true professional. Maybe 10 years ago or so he lifted up the ropes and let my Son and I spend a few minutes with him near the plane, take some pics and autographs etc. A great experience we will never forget. We still have that signed Ohio State hat around here somewhere.

What a great man... love his attitude for excellence.
Wonderful video, to aspire people to be more than they are! As a pilot I understand the commitment needed and the concentration required to flawlessly perform my task. There are no second chances except in simulators. In the real world you have only one chance to do it right. As you mention in your preps reading between the lines, we are allowed 2 mistakes in a flight but the 3rd mistake in a flight will kill you. Well done and thank you for all the years of showing us novice how it is really done correctly.

Amazing video. I try to think of aviation as something bigger than it's perceived by many people to be. Aviation, and more so aerobatic flying, is an art form. You need to be in tune with your airplane and connect with it. Sean Tucker is one of the biggest walking examples of that.
