Dear Mr. Tucker: Thank you for allowing me into your office. I am a 46 yo who has always had the desire to be a pilot. I have 20 hours of flying and ran out of money for training but someday I will get back into it. I want to tell you thank you for inspiring young persons today and keeping the passion of flight alive even in those of us who may never get the opportunity to do this kind of flying.
I heard about this guy. Supposed to be some great pilot. I don't see it, he can't seem to keep the wings level for more than a few seconds and he seems oblivious to the fact that the plane is smoking heavily. Somebody should tell him so he can get that checked out. He says he needs to practice three times a day? I think he needs a flight instructor. Other than that he seems okay.

hpshiker Don't laugh! I used to hear people in the audience think that very nonsense! That the engine was on fire! I have even heard people say about the vortices coming off of the wing tips that "the pilot is dumping excess fuel". Had I written down the nonsense spouted by onlookers at airshows I could have a web page of air show myths and misconceptions!
