  • My first time turning Juniper and boy, did I have a lot to learn! Very delicate sap wood, beautiful heartwood. Sweet aroma. Due to pieces of the sap wood just ripping away, the shape is not at all what I had in mind, but somehow, it still works! Finished in Feed & Wax.

Been a while, but I've been busy with a few bowls etc. of my own. So far I find myself spending about six to eight hours per day hanging onto the door ull end of a lathe chisel. I've done a couple dozen bowls about half of which have split due to the use of green wood. I've also done a half dozen wine goblets, and a slew of ornaments and trinkets, including a coffee scoop for the Mrs. Please extend my wishes for a happy birthday to your wife. I liked the bowl, it's not your usual, but nothing wrong with that. Take care of yourself, Phil. Best wishes. Pete.

Hi Phil, I see s cartoonish T-Rex 🦖 inside the bowl, and what looks like a fish fossil. 😆 YAY! F&W!! I knew you were going to use it before you did use it! 😂 Man I like that stuff! It makes the wood so pretty. This bowl goes in my top favorites! Stupendous project! I’m falling asleep 💤💤while typing, so… Have a happy week! Hugs to you! 💫✨ Roma 🌲💚🤢🦅 🐘

You always seem to be falling asleep during my videos, Roma! I sense a pattern here. 😊 I will try to make things more exciting! I'm just teasing you, I know it's because you often put in a long, stressful day. Whatever means you can use to relax is OK by me! 😊

I know you are teasing, but I did watch the whole video and didn’t fall asleep. It was the typing that got me. 😂😂 And yes, very stressful days. Hugs!
