I had mine today and thought I'd be fine after reading lots of comments saying it's uncomfortable but not painful. Even the nurse said this. The needle going in was ok, a bit stingy and a weird uncomfortable feeling but the needle poking around in the nodule made me cry out and I got all shaky and nearly passed out with the pain.
I would like to see a visual of what is happening. Maybe an animated view but this is not helping me understand how this biopsy happens without stabbing the esophagus or is the esophagus being stabbed?
I'm here trying to find out if it's normal to have a soar throat several days after thyroid biopsy?
