Its based on tires &r wheels to have same size he talkin bout but from a 24" plus tire to a 30" plus tire is same size jus have a tire to match height for both
07-14 Tahoe, Denali, Esclade, 28s dont fit they rub 23s 24s 26s can fit with no problem depending on the tire size 28s require a little modification for no rub basically more rim less tire for plus sizing

I have 295 30 26s on my tahoe and keep my tire pressure around 45psi and haven't had any issues even with small to medium sized pot holes

I just bought some 26" rims today for my 2014 chevy tahoe and was going to get 305 30 26 tires but was told by the shop guy that he would have to trim the inside plastic a little so he suggested 295 30 26 just like the ones in your video. Will it be enough side wall for a comfortable ride or should I go with the 305 and trim the inside plastic???

You'd have to do some cuttin' n liftin to get those 30s on. Better go for 28s instead.

When you look at the tires across the top, of course they all look the same. Look at them from the front side by side. They’re off about an inch.
Here's how I learned it when I started putting rims on cars... Bigger Rim = Skinnier Tire. Skinnier tire = pressure higher. That's a 20sec video.

What........ the lip of a rip takes away from the side profile of a rim. The face wheel will actually look bigger due to the fact you don’t take away from the look by adding a lip.

Your forgetting the width of the rim also... Can't go from a 22 to a 26 to 28 without taking the width into consideration.. my 2007 came with stock 22s went to. 26x10 on a 305 30 26.. all I needed was 2 inch strut mount spacer and I got my clearance... Giving up rubber to fit is the dumbest thing you can do.. rolling on rubber bands may look good but your rims are gonna get allot of dents on the lip ...
I even had 26s on my 99 Escalade when everyone said they wouldn't fit.. without lifting it...
Jesus Favela if u want big rims without rubber bands tires u have to cut. Having s 28 inch rim with that tire he mentioned shit. Any small crack on the road on that 28 is gonna cause issues.
I have a set of 28s on my.08 escalade. Lowered 2 in the front 4 in back. But i modified the wheel wheel tubs and had to trim a small piece of the running board but hey id rather more meat on my tires
