I got mine installed but it’s monochrome when off and color when lit plus I got installed an LED strip light under the hood and it looks insane!!! Super bright and cool… haven’t seen anyone like it by now. You should try it buddy.
Nice upgrade, Don! I bought an illuminated Bow-Tie for my Silverado from the dealer and installed it myself. I did remove the grille for my install just to make it easier. I've yet to see another one in town. I'll have to check out 404parts for some ideas. Thanks! :)
It comes on with the headlight circuit not the DRL circuit. It is due to a wiring restriction with how the Escalade is designed. Also the plastic is slightly off-white but looks worse on camera. In person I feel it looks better
No, especially since the rear emblem is a functional button for the tailgate hatch. Also the only color of light allowed on the rear of the vehicle is red in most states/provinces.
For some reason I wasn’t able to find the video before I installed mine. What a nightmare it was! Almost every mount for the clips for back door cover ripped off and I had to plastic weld them back on!

Add some Dielectric Grease to the plugs in order to keep the moisture out to keep the Emblem from shorting out/failing.

I don’t think its is faulty. Mine is a warmer white too. Not a blue white. The camera tends to make all the lighting look more similar
