@Mark Lynn Ronnie and Roxy's death really got to me the most it was so freaky it stuck in my mind for days after
Not to mention monumentally stupid 😒😒😒
One of the most tragic deaths has got to be Danielle (Ronnie's daughter in EastEnders). They only just reunited as mother and daughter and then Danielle got run over by Janine Butcher.
That was heartbreaking, I remember I was really rooting for them
I remember that then Ronnie and roxi got killed off few years later

I'll always remember the tram crash in Coronation Street. It was such a dramatic event, that I was on tender hooks waiting to see which characters would be tragically killed off.
Yep, was gutted when they killed off Ashley Peacock.

@@12thMandalorian Not really, in fact it won awards. The CGI wasn’t necessarily the best part of the episode, and of course special effects don’t age particularly well. But the suddenness of the disaster and the numerous dramas intertwined with the carnage made for compelling viewing 🙌

It was a game changer!
The Barry Evans murder is an EastEnders story-line ruined by a bad ending. Because if Janine really was convicted of killing Barry, Frank would've believe the whole thing.
No mention of Trevor Jordache on Brookside. That was one of the most dramatic deaths ever and the fallout went on for years.
It still hurts that both Rita Simons and Samantha Janus/Womack will never return to Eastenders.
Trisha Dingle's death on New Years Day 2004 should've been here. Part of The Woolpack fell onto her during the first storm.
Don't watch the soaps anymore but I can't help but watch a list of most brutal soap deaths. 😂
Again with the soaps, if there is any brutal death in anything it’s Numberjacks. Cause of death, being underrated by the soaps themselves until they are completely forgotten by BBC entirely. In my opinion they can either make a comeback on Ceebeebies or be turned into a horror movie by Rhys Frake Waterfield.
This video makes it look as British soaps have more deaths like The Walking Dead, The Sopranos or Sons of Anarchy!
Steve Owen was the last great character to be introduced to Eastenders. They still haven't replaced him 20 years later.

Holly Bartons death was the most resonant of the ones shown here. It was a surprise, yet completely believable, it hariened back to the old days of soaps with no serial killers, or annual disasters. I remember the death of Damon Grant in Damonand Debbie, the Brookie spin off. What r3ally touched me was a scene in Brookside where a young policeman approached the house and his workmate who lived in the Close offered to do the terrible job for him but he refused , saying he had to get used to it. If i recall Damon's Mum Sheila was watching this exchange and realised what had happened.
How about uploading top 20 Soap characters that changed personality over the years like bad to good or trouble to loveable loser and comic. Billy Mitchell, Barry Evans, Minty Peterson, Stuart Highway, Terry Raymond, Jay brown, Butch Dingle and many more please. Include Honourable mention as well. I always love them.
The thing is if something is falling towards you then you ain't going to stand there and scream lol your going to run for your life😂😂

2010 was a great year for soaps we had the tram crash and the Bradley moment I remember watching both Live in and talking about it in school, the next day and everybody else was, it seemed like Soaps are a bit bigger than I stop watching them years ago. I tried to get into EastEnders a couple of years ago but I just couldn’t get back into it.

Nowadays the death of a soap character is a result of an actor exiting a soap declining in quailty continuously...
I used to watch Corrie and emmerdale with my family all the time but we gradually went off emmerdale and don’t think we’ve watched any Corrie since Kylie died, we then went on to hollyoaks but stopped watching that last year as well 😅😅

Can I add a 21, Kirsten McAskill, happy valley, after putting over Lewis for speeding, she hears noise Corning for the back of the van, Lewis’s partner (tommy) was at the seen when Kirsten when to get the van keys, Tommy the reverses the vehicle he was in into the van and into Kirsten, then running her over, multiple times

That's just it, though, I do not think Fatboy is dead.
When Dot died, there was a card saying "I'll never forget you Mrs B., Arthur.". Arthur is Fatboy's first name and he used to call Dot Mrs B., so it does make you wonder if there's a possibility that he's still alive (bearing in mind that we never actually saw his dead body).

#9 was hollyoaks basically desperate to try & be relevant with all the more popular tv shows going on at the time. The shot of the vehicles missing that kid was clearly supposed to look like something out of a Breaking Bad season finale
