One of the most tragic deaths has got to be Danielle (Ronnie's daughter in EastEnders). They only just reunited as mother and daughter and then Danielle got run over by Janine Butcher.
I'll always remember the tram crash in Coronation Street. It was such a dramatic event, that I was on tender hooks waiting to see which characters would be tragically killed off.
@@12thMandalorian Not really, in fact it won awards. The CGI wasn’t necessarily the best part of the episode, and of course special effects don’t age particularly well. But the suddenness of the disaster and the numerous dramas intertwined with the carnage made for compelling viewing 🙌
Again with the soaps, if there is any brutal death in anything it’s Numberjacks. Cause of death, being underrated by the soaps themselves until they are completely forgotten by BBC entirely. In my opinion they can either make a comeback on Ceebeebies or be turned into a horror movie by Rhys Frake Waterfield.
The Barry Evans murder is an EastEnders story-line ruined by a bad ending. Because if Janine really was convicted of killing Barry, Frank would've believe the whole thing.
Holly Bartons death was the most resonant of the ones shown here. It was a surprise, yet completely believable, it hariened back to the old days of soaps with no serial killers, or annual disasters. I remember the death of Damon Grant in Damonand Debbie, the Brookie spin off. What r3ally touched me was a scene in Brookside where a young policeman approached the house and his workmate who lived in the Close offered to do the terrible job for him but he refused , saying he had to get used to it. If i recall Damon's Mum Sheila was watching this exchange and realised what had happened.
2010 was a great year for soaps we had the tram crash and the Bradley moment I remember watching both Live in and talking about it in school, the next day and everybody else was, it seemed like Soaps are a bit bigger than I stop watching them years ago. I tried to get into EastEnders a couple of years ago but I just couldn’t get back into it.
How about uploading top 20 Soap characters that changed personality over the years like bad to good or trouble to loveable loser and comic. Billy Mitchell, Barry Evans, Minty Peterson, Stuart Highway, Terry Raymond, Jay brown, Butch Dingle and many more please. Include Honourable mention as well. I always love them.
I used to watch Corrie and emmerdale with my family all the time but we gradually went off emmerdale and don’t think we’ve watched any Corrie since Kylie died, we then went on to hollyoaks but stopped watching that last year as well 😅😅
This is interesting of course; but of course there have been other soaps in the past like Brookside, Crossroads, Eldorado and so on too though. Thank you!
Fenisha and Lev's deaths in Casualty are the most shocking I've ever seen. Complete silence and then a train coming out of nowhere and hitting Lev. Then the zoom in on his eyes wide open.
Anyone remember that character in EastEnders i think called Mathew? I think he was played by Lilly Allens brother possibly, and he had serious mental issues. 🤔 It got dark.
Can I add a 21, Kirsten McAskill, happy valley, after putting over Lewis for speeding, she hears noise Corning for the back of the van, Lewis’s partner (tommy) was at the seen when Kirsten when to get the van keys, Tommy the reverses the vehicle he was in into the van and into Kirsten, then running her over, multiple times
When Dot died, there was a card saying "I'll never forget you Mrs B., Arthur.". Arthur is Fatboy's first name and he used to call Dot Mrs B., so it does make you wonder if there's a possibility that he's still alive (bearing in mind that we never actually saw his dead body).
Interesting video but on the first video when he said it was 2002 how come there was a little title underneath the video saying 1985 or something like that
l will never understand why in Corrie when Molly saw the tram crash off the bridge and coming towards her why she chose to run back in to the shop instead of run away from it
Again Sarah in Hollyoaks death made no sense surely if Lydia knew her gf was gonna die she'd have cuddled her then pulled cord on her own parachute and fallen to safety? 😅
I watch hollyoaks for ages and then leave it for a bit, only to come back a few months later and there’s been 3 marriages, 4 affairs, 6 new characters, a major disaster, and explosion, a serial killer and 10 deaths and leaves 😂
I stopped watching soaps years ago and I don’t miss them and I couldn’t tell you what is going on From what I’ve read the storylines are getting more outlandish and they will lose more viewers
#9 was hollyoaks basically desperate to try & be relevant with all the more popular tv shows going on at the time. The shot of the vehicles missing that kid was clearly supposed to look like something out of a Breaking Bad season finale
Yeah, they should absolutely fire him-or better yet, KILL HIM-just because you don't like his voice. Better still, put the subtitles on, put the sound to mute and get over it.

Ronnie and Roxy's death in EastEnders was so creepy
@Mark Lynn Ronnie and Roxy's death really got to me the most it was so freaky it stuck in my mind for days after
Not to mention monumentally stupid 😒😒😒
It was so sad I remember watching it
One of the most tragic deaths has got to be Danielle (Ronnie's daughter in EastEnders). They only just reunited as mother and daughter and then Danielle got run over by Janine Butcher.
That was heartbreaking, I remember I was really rooting for them
I remember that then Ronnie and roxi got killed off few years later
This is most brutal. Not which one made you cry the most..
I'll always remember the tram crash in Coronation Street. It was such a dramatic event, that I was on tender hooks waiting to see which characters would be tragically killed off.
Yep, was gutted when they killed off Ashley Peacock.
wasnt it considered as a dreadful episode due to the CGI?
@@12thMandalorian Not really, in fact it won awards. The CGI wasn’t necessarily the best part of the episode, and of course special effects don’t age particularly well. But the suddenness of the disaster and the numerous dramas intertwined with the carnage made for compelling viewing 🙌
*tenterhooks lol
It was a game changer!
No mention of Trevor Jordache on Brookside. That was one of the most dramatic deaths ever and the fallout went on for years.
Note to oneself. Stay away from Hollyoaks. 🤣
Don’t go need any of the soaps if you wanna remain alive Xxx😂😂😂
Never have don't worry.
For nearly 10 years they've killed off 82% of their characters.
right 😂😂
And eastenders
Again with the soaps, if there is any brutal death in anything it’s Numberjacks. Cause of death, being underrated by the soaps themselves until they are completely forgotten by BBC entirely. In my opinion they can either make a comeback on Ceebeebies or be turned into a horror movie by Rhys Frake Waterfield.
Trisha Dingle's death on New Years Day 2004 should've been here. Part of The Woolpack fell onto her during the first storm.
“ A lightning strike”
I can’t with British soaps 😂
You should watch some telenovelas. They are pretty ridiculous in the best way.
The Barry Evans murder is an EastEnders story-line ruined by a bad ending. Because if Janine really was convicted of killing Barry, Frank would've believe the whole thing.
Don't watch the soaps anymore but I can't help but watch a list of most brutal soap deaths. 😂
It’s strange how emergency services always take their sweet time in soaps.
And IRL ...😅
It still hurts that both Rita Simons and Samantha Janus/Womack will never return to Eastenders.
Roxy returned but as a Ghost to her daughter Amy
I doubt this will get made but I would like to suggest 10/20 over the top Murders on "Midsomer Murders. "
could be fun!
I reckon that would be a great idea.
Steve Owen was the last great character to be introduced to Eastenders. They still haven't replaced him 20 years later.
Biggest mistake the show has ever made killing him off
Think be bit hard to bring back Steve as he blew up and u saw it unlike fatboy fatboy could have escaped
Holly Bartons death was the most resonant of the ones shown here. It was a surprise, yet completely believable, it hariened back to the old days of soaps with no serial killers, or annual disasters. Uk soaps are so much better than US soaps.
agreed
Agreed I'm from the US and haven't watched the soaps here in years
Just got into Hollyoaks earlier this year and love it
This video makes it look as British soaps have more deaths like The Walking Dead, The Sopranos or Sons of Anarchy!
I can remember when Ernest Bishop was shot dead in Coronation Street in 1978
How old are you then?
2010 was a great year for soaps we had the tram crash and the Bradley moment I remember watching both Live in and talking about it in school, the next day and everybody else was, it seemed like Soaps are a bit bigger than I stop watching them years ago. I tried to get into EastEnders a couple of years ago but I just couldn’t get back into it.
And Phil Mitchell on crack
Same here, the soaps have declined big time over the past 3-4 year
Nowadays the death of a soap character is a result of an actor exiting a soap declining in quailty continuously...
How about uploading top 20 Soap characters that changed personality over the years like bad to good or trouble to loveable loser and comic. What about Ashley peacock on Corrie he was crushed by the viaduct trying to save his friends
And he saved Peter and Nick. What a waste. 🤦♀️
I used to watch Corrie and emmerdale with my family all the time but we gradually went off emmerdale and don’t think we’ve watched any Corrie since Kylie died, we then went on to hollyoaks but stopped watching that last year as well 😅😅
I never watch soaps, they’re boring. But seeing these clips, they are hilarious.
This is interesting of course; but of course there have been other soaps in the past like Brookside, Crossroads, Eldorado and so on too though. Thank you!
Thank you there for the highlight so then too of course!
The thing is if something is falling towards you then you ain't going to stand there and scream lol your going to run for your life😂😂
I love the voice on these ones
Barry down at 19? Thought that would have at least been top 10!
Fenisha and Lev's deaths in Casualty are the most shocking I've ever seen. Complete silence and then a train coming out of nowhere and hitting Lev. Then the zoom in on his eyes wide open.
Jack P Shepherd acted his ASS OFF when Kylie died....shit gives me the shivers it was so well delivered

10:00. They killed the _baby?_
yeah they did💀💀☠️
Eastenders really did have some brutal deaths
Also that breeda death tho
For me Tiffanys death in Eastenders sticks with me! I think it was the donk noise she made as she hit the pavement nasty! Xx
I remember being 8/9 years old and being upset for weeks when Tiffany died
They missed out Phelan & Dirty Den's death.
Phelan's was a brutal one for sure
I nearly cried during Liv's death 😭 And the showdown between Cain and Al was good.
Some of these are so over the top!
Janine didn’t kill Barry, she just didn’t save him😂
The quality looks really good tho…
They must’ve changed the quality to now
Richard Hillman was the boss.
Yes
Definitely
Leanna cavannah in emmerdale should of been here.
I love comedy like this
Here are my Top 10's:
Top 10 Memorable McQueen characters on Hollyoaks.
Top 10 Outfits on Hollyoaks we all Want.
Anyone remember that character in EastEnders i think called Mathew? I think he was played by Lilly Allens brother possibly, and he had serious mental issues. 🤔 It got dark.
Matthew name in real life is called Joe ablson not Alfie Allen
What is it with British soaps and exploring cars?!
Thank you for reminding me why I don't watch soaps
That's just it, though, I do not think Fatboy is dead.
When Dot died, there was a card saying "I'll never forget you Mrs B., Arthur.". Arthur is Fatboy's first name and he used to call Dot Mrs B., so it does make you wonder if there's a possibility that he's still alive (bearing in mind that we never actually saw his dead body).
3:04 Stacey wasn’t Bradley’s fiancé she was his wife
Everyone remembers tricky dicky, Richard from coronation street.
I'm sorry the Richard Hillman storyline was the best one yet
How can anyone FORGET Richard? I was terrified of him as a kid
I was so sad when Liv died
Ive become aware of a rumour circulating around that the people in these soaps actually get paid for doing it
i don't even live in the UK, i just think soaps are funny 😅
No Max from Hollyoaks
Interesting video but on the first video when he said it was 2002 how come there was a little title underneath the video saying 1985 or something like that
The val death mode no sense 😂😅if she could free her hand to lift a lighter and a ciggie she could have punched that shard of glass as it came down ...
There have been a lot of brutal deaths in soaps
4:43 Brits call it a crowbar also? This US/UK thing may just work out.
Ernest bishop was very brutal
I think Liv's death was more traumatizing than Harriet's.
2:58
He didn’t lose his footing, he threw himself off. (my opinion)
Number 3, what the hell? that is so unrealistic and almost impossible 😂
l will never understand why in Corrie when Molly saw the tram crash off the bridge and coming towards her why she chose to run back in to the shop instead of run away from it
Remember Percy Sugden😂
If you count London's burning as a soap john hallems death was brutal
worst for me was defo callum kane on hollyoaks stabbed by a samurai sword 🫠
What about Kush's death? Pushed in front of a train😬
Crazy max lost all he's kids on top of the Vic
Again Sarah in Hollyoaks death made no sense surely if Lydia knew her gf was gonna die she'd have cuddled her then pulled cord on her own parachute and fallen to safety? 😅
Are we seriously forgetting Richard Hillman’s death
How was shadrachs death not in here or micks from Christmas day 2022
Was glad to see the back of barry evans, was such a mug in the end the way janine conned him
Yes it was
Bwadley Bwanning
Stay away from scaffolding
It got to violent
I watch hollyoaks for ages and then leave it for a bit, only to come back a few months later and there’s been 3 marriages, 4 affairs, 6 new characters, a major disaster, and explosion, a serial killer and 10 deaths and leaves 😂
I stopped watching soaps years ago and I don’t miss them and I couldn’t tell you what is going on
From what I’ve read the storylines are getting more outlandish and they will lose more viewers
jim latimer killing sharon crosswaite was brutal
orTrssh desth in 1973
Hollyoaks axing 20 actors so it's only gonna get more ....tragic 😅
Steve owens death as i like martin kemp
With fat boy we never saw his body
Lessons learned don’t live in Emmerdale farm Wethersfield Hollyoaks and Walford LOL Xx😂😂😂
What’s wrong with these soaps killing of characters in the most brutal ways
EASTENDERS: 6
HOLLYOAKS: 4
C.S: 5
EMMERDALE: 4
BROOKS: 1
Hopefully I counted that right... 😅
Stay away from EastEnders folks!
Val Pollard was a horrible character.
Apparently Fatboy isn't dead
NO I DON'T AGREE !!
We all know Fatboy isnt dead
I dont think fatboy is dead
Bwutal xD
#9 was hollyoaks basically desperate to try & be relevant with all the more popular tv shows going on at the time. The shot of the vehicles missing that kid was clearly supposed to look like something out of a Breaking Bad season finale
This channel is a joke nowadays. And how isn't Mel Owens death on this list?!
Can't stand voice over guys voice
Hollyoaks is the one reason why I don’t watch British Soaps.
Wish they'd get rid of this video's voice over guy. He puts me right off watching 😝
Yeah, they should absolutely fire him-or better yet, KILL HIM-just because you don't like his voice.
Better still, put the subtitles on, put the sound to mute and get over it.
