Okie State should make their Pistol Pete logo their primary, and I'm a sucker for old scripts. South Carolina's "Carolina" script is a favorite of mine. And you're absolutely right about the sunflower showdown being underrated. I didn't grow up a KU fan and was completely unaware of how nasty that rivalry can get on both sides sometimes. I'd have to pull up my old MileSplit and it's been a while, haha. I wasn't a great cross country runner but I was varsity, so around late 17s-early 18s. In track I ran mid distance and sprints, but mostly relays, so my times weren't ever concrete. My 400 got down to around 52 and my 100 was in the 11 range, but for some reason I couldn't get my 200 lower than high 24s. I wish I could lie and say I was an elite athlete but I just flat out wasn't, haha

I really want to add Pitt and Louisville to the big 12 so bad. Having Cincinnati, West Virginia, Pitt, and Louisville together all so close would be Great drama and rivalries.
My honest, legitimate hope is that the B1G and SEC merge into a 24/32 team superleague and the Big 12/ACC/Leftovers just merge to form a handful of 8 or 10 team regionalized conferences that save rivalries under a new banner. Essentially resplit divisions. I know that'll mean less money for the new NCAA, since casual fans will watch the superleague more often, but man it feels like the best option for the rest of college football
As a Louisville fan there’s nothing more I want than a reunion of those rivalries. Especially the Cincinnati rivalry. Pittsburgh is still fun and hell of a battle in volleyball. But when we got Cincinnati in our bowl game the city was so excited and we got to laugh and thank them for taking Scott satterfield off our hands. We didn’t play Kentucky for most of our history so cincy became our rival. The keg of nails is an awesome trophy and was always the most physical game. The city cincy forced our Louisville bats to change colors. And they have a mls team and we don’t even tho we keep winning. The only thing left is the great steamboat race during derby week
Man, I'm a big Texas A&M fan, going there right now for school, but I really wish I had been laying attention for some of those Big 12 years, the rivalries and other in-state opponents is something I wish we had now. Definitely looking forward to playing t.u. again though!

Apparently the NCAA started with C-USA's founding in 1995 (dang that was a good basketball conference). So it's been very interesting and eye-opening to know this has always happened and will continue forever. Also, as an NC State fan, I hope the Pop Tart tasted like cardboard.
