Low-key this might be the most perfect Q60 I've ever seen exterior and engine wise. The sound is AMAZING, personally I think it sounds better than a B58 or possibly S58 but that's just an opinion though. The tried and true, long in the tooth Jatco JR710E 7 speed seems to be shifting well I wonder if there is any TCM tuning going on. The red seats in a red car is also a crazy combination. Rosa is awesome, love it
Awesome build! Love these cars! I had to rent a car for my wife while her was being repaired, ended up with a Q50, and fell in love. Two weeks later, I bought her qx50. Just wish they had this platform for qx. 😢
Thua build is amazing. Your friend has great taste. Everything about that Q60 Red Sport was done perfectly as far as body upgrades, engine mods, etc. If I was going to mod my Q70L 5.6 all-wheel-drive, I'd use, the same aesthetic.
It's nice to know people still enjoy their 🚗 add tasteful mods to it. In my area, I don't run into infiniti anymore. Mostly, just Sunday drivers in their hybrid or tesla 😤

q50 is actually one of the better modern sport cars (even if its not really), in a world where most sport cars are dead, with the supra 86 and others being revived its still a solid option but rarely considered
I love how drivable and usable the car is. I just feel that Nissan has really dropped the ball on their Auto transmissions do to their delayed shifts. I’m hoping that the new 9 speed auto Nissan will be using in the new Z will match the Supra’s ZF transmission in shift time. Hopefully Nissan doesn’t drop another sluggish trans for their performance vehicles moving forward. Because that would be really unfortunate knowing that they have what it takes to do so but refuse to take the initiative to make a change and improve with the times.
@@Chimps010 I believe so either auto or manual, since the new Z will have a manual and the 9 speed auto it’ll be easier to do swaps with the VR30 since they share the same engine it’ll be more of a plug n play instead of having to upgrade the 7 speed or retro fit a 370z manual with adjustments to do a manual swap

I love my 3.7 Q50 but now I want one of these Q60's LoL I'm going to keep my 3.7 Q50 and most likely put a VR transmission, LSD and supercharger on it. I just finished supercharging my 370Z that has a full exhaust on it. I'm going to be posting some videos in the upcoming weeks and months. Is there any reason why he does not drive it in manual mode?

Dudes probably got at least $20-30k invested in AMS’ overpriced parts alone. Normal Q drivers don’t have that kind of disposable cash to dump into a $45k car.
limited to 550tq, I haven't used my Dragy yet, but 0-60 should be low 3's, and 1/4 should be in high 10's (based on others on Dragy with similar builds)

Maybe they'll refine the auto later, but I'm sure they only wanted some improvements on mpg with the auto, and slightly more crisp shifts... Who knows .. but they listened to all the fans with the manual... Just didn't release as fast as it should've been
Exhuast fuel system and pure turbos. Vr30 is the best platform for cheap cheap power I my opinion, a heat exchanger and a exhuast and a tune pushing 430 on 91 450-460 on 93 and 500 all day on Ethanol mixes

Couldn't agree more! i can only speculate about TCM stuff historically they up the line pressure but guessing at this point
There is no trans tune currently available but there is some development underway to resolve that. Line pressure is all we can adjust currently.

Yea it’s tripping me out. I spent a while verifying it’s all synced up. On low boost there is a delay but when releasing high boost it’s on point.
I could be wrong on the technical details, but it may be a combination of the internal wastegate, tune, and spring-loaded Turbosmart BOV.
I thought blowoff valves were not needed on this platform?

Either works. Would recommend the red sport or sport(silver sport) though. You get the bigger brakes, sport modes, bigger rims/tires and carbon fiber.

I can give you a short answer that can create more questions. But I recommend you google “how turbos work”. The sound is the BOV releasing pressure.
