I'd pretty much decided that an Uber was the best option for me in terms of travelling between Disney and Universal, but I thought I'd watch this video just out of interest, and it's helped me decide that an Uber is better. I'm staying at Disney again next April, and after I've done all 4 parks, I'm then going to use Uber to go to Universal for the day each day that I visit, and then get an Uber back to Disney in time for my dining reservation. I always like staying on Disney property because of the Disney theming at a lot of the resorts, the free transportation, and most importantly, the option to make dining reservations 70 days in advance, starting at the 60 day mark before your trip
FYI Disney parks, if you are staying in a Disney hotels, parking at the hotel no longer cost anything also, if you are driving to the park, you also do not have to pay that is per my Travel Agent.

I think at any resort you stay at, whether Disney or Universal, vale, moderate or deluxe, you're going to get thin walls either way. So, make sure you pack those earplugs

Question…are the Universal property hotels cheaper than the Disney property hotels? It may be better to stay at Universal and travel, via UBER to Disney! Just curious.

We did this during a split trip from Disney to Universal, and it really is probable the most affordable way to get from one to the other!

Another way to get between both parks is take Interstate 4 and sit in a lot of traffic as that highway always gets lol.
Taking a Lyft is the easiest option for me. Or if you can drive, Do that too.
