Middlesex Street Cycle Gate

A short video showing how a cycle gate works.
Cycles get a green from the cycle track to enter the second stop line area to get a head start from general traffic in space.
The cycle track signal goes red.
The second stop line signals go green to give cycle traffic a head start in time to cross or turn in the junction.
The general traffic signals go green and general traffic also passes the second stop line which is still on green.
The second stop line and general traffic stop line signals both go red.
Cycles get a green from the cycle track once again and so on.
