Some of the best comedy on the show is when Seth either doesn't land a joke and jokes his way through the bomb...or the joke is so bizzare or bad that he lands the bomb on the writer of the joke. My favorite segment is when he reviews his writing staff. Pure gold.
Reminds me of Conan, which is 100% a compliment.
I like every part of all his monologues!

Yep., stuff he realized works thanks to his segments from home over COVID.
Best bits of US late night comedy TV shows? When they eff up the joke, and you get to see their true selves handle it. Before that - and usually after - it's all slick, well-scripted stuff, like eating at a chain restaurant, but for a brief moment there you get the unvarnished freewheeling comedian show host trying to salvage things, and it is GREAT! lol You get spontaneous off the cuff jokes and improvisation. I effin love it. :D

Correction: You wouldn't use a roll of quarters in Australia, and a claw machine would likely need a roll of dollars (we have 1 and 2 dollar coins)

You don’t have to be the sharpest tool in the shed to be a great P 4:05 resident. Joe has the wisdom born of age to gather people around him who know more than he does, - and that wisdom morphs into his greatness as he listens to him. Compare that to an ex -President.
Donnie, as well, had an infinity of people around him that knew more than him, he just never listened to any of them, being as he mistakenly believes he knows more than everyone about everything. I think you hafta have a little empathy, compassion, or simple humanity to succeed as president, and Don's got too little (if any?) of all of those.

Anyone else notice how when a joke doesnt land, Seth posts up with his right arm and leans on his left? Some people cross their arms when they feel vulnerable but he turns into a right-angle triangle.

I think the Alaska Airlines jokes are beyond old. The issue that happened with the door was due to Boeing and its contractor. Alaska was the victim. Add to that the fact that they have some of the best service and I don't think sending them on that specific airline would be a punishment. Sheesh. At least make the jokes relevant 😆

Getting the child out of the claw machine in Australia couldn't possibly have taken *a roll of quarters* as Australia does not have a coin with that denomination. Also, those sorts of machines usually cost a few dollars per turn.

You don't understand base twelve, base four, base two... quarter is still metric in base four.
Quarter is metric in base 4.
Ten is an odd arbitrary choice for number base anywhere you want to divide by 2,3,4, and 6 evenly. You only get 2 and 5...
I prefer binary but at least duodecimal lets you divide the clock evenly. Or are you using decimal time in Australia where theres 10000 seconds in a day, 10 hours of 100 minutes of 100 seconds?
