    Love all your diy pieces! They are a more natural fir in a junk journal craft room than fancy expensive stuff. Well done. Hugs and blessings, ❤️🤗🇨🇦

    This is the first time I ever saw another person have a Big Sister Die Cut and Emboss machine like mine. I purchased mine from Amazon about 2 years ago. Only one I could afford and the only one that I have now. It words great to me just heavy. Nice big craft room you have.

    • @MelissaSue
      @MelissaSue  Год назад +1

      I actually ordered the little sister, also from Amazon, but they sent the big sister. I didn't complain. It is heavy. That's why I put it on this cart so I can just roll it to my work area. LOL I don't see it on Amazon anymore, but they do have another brand that carries adjustable die cutting machines.

    Wow! You're so organized. I wanna STAY organized.

    • @MelissaSue
      @MelissaSue  Год назад +1

      My main rule is everything has to be within “one reach”, so a lot of drawers and open storage. Things are accessible so you use it all. The best part, clean up is so much easier. It’s been a total game changer. This really will help things *stay* organized. Let me know if you try it and if it helps! 😊

    • @martiseelye6443
      @martiseelye6443 Год назад

      My mind thinks out of sight out of mind so yeah I must be able to see it. And the stuff I use most much be reachable. I need to reorganize...again lol

    I love the old school metal desk - those are the best! I read somewhere that when you store items standing upright (like you showed at the beginning) - you'll use them and remember it.That's why I try to stack my journals and notebooks vertically so they don't get stuff piled on top. You're so organized!

    • @MelissaSue
      @MelissaSue  Год назад

      Exactly! My sister had stacks of slim boxes. I convinced her to stand them on their sides, so they'relined up like books. Lol I have a "one reach" rule which means everything has to be within one reach. So, a lot of open containers and drawers. Nothing gets buried. The best advantage I realized is cleanup is so much easier.

    I absolutely love how creative you are. The dollar tree is in the middle of my spare bedroom. Speaking of diamond painting. A friend mailed me one from Amazon a cple years ago. Still sitting on floor in our bedroom. I'm disabled, but I'm sure I could do more than I do. One thing I enjoy is to have hubby cut with his jigsaw our state (TX) or a Christmas tree and E6000 costume jewelry on top till it's full. They are so beautiful. I also got alot from marketplace, but I had to pay. Lol
    Not much though. As far as desk, I have one kinda short one that has plugs. Then, I have a white Rubbermaid one from Walmart. I'm just getting into Temu. Waiting on first order. I see myself getting in trouble on that site. 😆
    Several years ago, I ordered a monthly subscription to a place called Annie's card making. But, hell I don't know what a A4, A5 etc is. Don't think I'm going to be a very good crafter, but I thought it'd be a good idea to get me out of bed and accidentally have a good day. Atleast that's the plan. Anyway, didn't mean to write you a letter. Oh, you make beautiful journals. 😍
    Take care. Have a Happy Mother's day 💓. Denise/Texas

I have a lot of health problems too. I try to make it to my craft room everyday. I even have my morning meds in here and just plop down until they kick in. LOL You have a happy Mother's Day, as well. My kiddos game me money and I just put in a huge order on Ali Express. LOL

    thank you for sharing it is very inspiring but i would like toknow how you store your dies in a binder please i like the idea

    • @MelissaSue
      @MelissaSue  Год назад +1

      I have a recent video showing how I use binders for storage in a lot of different ways. For dies, I used cardstock. First I scored and folded at one inch on the left side, where they will attach to the rings of the binder. I glued the 1 inch fold to the back side. This gave it a stronger edge to help support the weight of the dies, so the pages didn't sag or tear. Then I simply made pockets to hold the dies out of the same cardstock. They are all different, depending on the size and shape of the dies. You have to make the pockets to hold them well so they don't slide around. On some pages I used magnet strips, but I prefer the pockets. It's not fancy, but it is effective. For storage I focus on having everything visible and easily accessible. This serves that approach. Let me know if you try it!
