I’m watching this more than a year later, but I had to laugh every time you said “so the cat doesn’t eat it” 😂😂😂. I have two cats and so many of my storage decisions are made with them in mind. Especially since one of them loves to eat paper, I mean that literally. Great room!

What a well thought out space! I enjoyed it and will copy several of your storage solutions. I was a CTMH consultant for over 10 years & loved it, but moved out of state & didn’t want to start over. I spent today painting my empty nest bedroom for my craft room &am so excited to get it set up & craft again! Many blessings to you.
I was a consultant too for almost 15 years. Still love the company and you can not beat their paper and inks.

Awesome, awe-inspiring!!!! I’m 74 and have 9 kids and 24 grandchildren. I’ve journaled every year since I was 10 years old. Polaroids were a boon!!!! Back in the day. Now that they have flown away, have made rooms to house sewing, office, wet/dry crafts. Tim Holtz is a new addition to my life. There was a time when our town only had a Hancock Fabric with one craft rack. Now Hobby Lobby/Michael’s/JoAnnes/Tuesday Morning/Dollar Tree in the mall is a walk in Heaven.

Jennifer, your room is amazing!!! This was a great video!!! I used to sell CTMH UT stopped about a year ago because I was having too many health problems. In April I was diagnosed with Long Haul Covid. Not the worst thing in the world but a real pain in the booty!! I still take care of my five year old great granddaughter, Caroline and she is the joy of my life! She likes crafting💖💖💖

I am nowhere near your level of talent, knowledge, or skills, and I have never even heard of many of the items you mentioned. Nevertheless, this has been very helpful because of your ingenious and practical organization and storage methods that will help me with my own ever growing stash of “maker” supplies and tools.
I recently have an empty magazine rack! Thank you for the idea on what i an use it for! I was going to just donate it instead.

Great room, thanks for sharing. I was wondering what do you use as a surface on top of your desks? I’m trying to find something that’s easy to maintain because mine is play wood painted white and I don’t need to explain what a nightmare that is 😡
The top of my desks are sheet metal purchased from Lowes and glued down with liquid nails. It is so easy to clean and takes a beating.
@@JenniferPerryMyScraproom I kind of figured that so it inspired me to go to a local shop and they are making one for my table. My table is pretty big (36X86) and I wanted one piece 😵💫 It should be ready in a few days and can’t wait. Now I need to find someone with a truck so I can bring it home. Thanks for your reply 🙏
It looks like you have a bar hanging from the ceiling for a camera mount. How is that attached to the ceiling? I’m looking for a solution like that but my new studio is going to have a drop ceiling. Ugh!
Ours is attached into a stud with larger screws / bolts that came with the camera mount. I wish is was just a tiny bit longer because I have to use a step stool to line up a shot but other than that it works perfectly for me. I love that I no longer have "camera shake" while filming and creating. In my old studio we had this mount attached to the wall off to the side.

Just a couple of questions…did I miss seeing a sewing machine and what kind of task chair do you use while crafting. Wonderful craft room🥰
Sorry for the delay - I have been on a family vacation since Jan 1. I do not use a sewing machine - I love to hand stitch. I use DMC embroidery thread. As far as my office chair a few years ago my husband and I invested in some really nice custom office chairs. Mine has the same material used in hospital office chairs for the seat and that makes it really simple to wipe up any spills or spatters that land on my chair.
Hat do you have on the surface of the tables, missed it if you mentioned it
It is sheet metal. We have it attached to the tables and it provides a perfect work surface. Easy to clean. I do not cut up my table when I accentually forget to use a craft mat it is also magnetic. We have been using it has my table surface for almost 20 years now.
