- In this episode of the Outsiders, Noah, Collin1, Collin2, and Trent took a trip down to the Niagara River to catch some big trout. Not knowing what the day will hold, they're all able to hook into some nice lake trout and steelhead! Make sure to watch the whole video to see some epic catches!

Team up with Thundermist Lures and combine the Canadian Side shoreline wranglers and the American Side Shoreline wranglers.
That's sounds like fun!

Wow absolutely love this video and the other one you did from the lower Niagara. Could you maybe show the line set up on your rod ... I caught a glimpse in your last video but 😂... Maybe just take a minute of your video and show from the first connection down..... Thanks.
Thanks Don, appreciate it! Yea I can do that next time I go down there, here's a video I made about my set up 2 years ago. Also, I know I explained it in some other Niagara River videos, just have to sift through them lol, tight tines!

For those of you who came for the steelhead: 4:33 9:22 32:02
we came for the steelhead, but your journey for the steel is half the fun
really, a killer day on the niagara, amazing fish guys
Thx Dean 👌🏼
That was a banner day to be out on the lower...we were upriver from you guys (day of car explosion on the bridge). Couldn't keep lakers off the hook. Glad you guys got into the steelhead action that day!
Thanks Chris, nice meeting you. The bit was on that day for sure!
Just moved to wny, and am amazed to see the fishing is so good even in december. I just have no clue where to go.
Find moving water that dumps into a lake, there will be trout of some kind
Probably some of the best fishing in the country Mike, welcome!😎🖖🏼
lol quit pickin on Trent
We'll try🤣
What would be the chance of watching you cast the rod with the "mooching" reel? I have not seen or ever used those so I'm assuming it goes into freespool so you can cast it quite a distance.
Sure are nice fish you guys are catching
I usually like to stick with the centerpin reel, seems like I get the best drift with it. Your right it has no drag👍😎
Nice fish boy love the video stay fishy Redmond OREGON 👍
Thanks, tight lines 🎣😎
@@OutsidersOutdoorCo going steelhead fishing in the morning bro can't wait tight lines fish on stay fishy Redmond OREGON
Good luck😀
lol spinning gear on top Colon #1, got the same pole Okuma SST and bang out fish in front of center pinners on Ohio rivers all the time lmfao🤣. Great vid man keep em up.💯
Hehehe, appreciate it Dman! Will do😎
At 22:44 that was such a bummer. I bet he feels bad, that fish looked like it was all the way in the net...rough way to lose one.
Almost lol
@@OutsidersOutdoorCo oh sorry dude, I meant 24:40
The Niagara is my favorite river to fish and I live in Oregon 🦦
Greetings from NY, it's my favorite place too!
Great video again guys, can you explain the technique here, for float fishing. How far from the shore.
Thanks! Usually float anywhere from 8-15ft depending on how far you cast out the float. 24g float, 21lb main line, 15lb shot line, 10lb leader
@@OutsidersOutdoorCo Thanks bro, I use Microfilament braid line Power PRO 10 Lb and 8 Lb leader line. But I'm having problems because my braid line freezes when I'm on the Whirlpool Niagara, Canadian side. I also fish on a float. Do you think these lines are not suitable for Niagara or is it better with three lines as you made the setup? What brand do you use? I'm still a beginner on this water. Ty
Great video as usual man!! But those bearings in your pin are killing me!! Give ‘em a chance man! Tight lines🎣
Thanks Justin! Hehehehe I probably should lol🎣😎
Great catches man. Didn't expect to see lake trouts lol. Are you fishing on the Canadian or USA side? Just curious because I'm from Canada and was thinking of trying for steelies there!
The American side👍 Definitely give it a go, lots of fish in there!
Great vid. What area of the lower is this?
Closer to the mouth👍
are the Bloodrun rods good? ive heard a few people say everything they make sucks and breaks easily. I wanted to pick up a Skein cane HD for my brother but didn’t want to get something thats bad quality.
I've been using the Skein Cane HD for about 3 years and I haven't had any problems with it, I actually really like it. If it can handle fish in the Niagara, which it does, you know its a good rod, would recommend👍
I got a Skein Cane HD a few years ago specifically for the Niagara, and it’s been great.
Duuuudes i love tha channel!!! I live on the ganaraska river and wanna try the niagra for some fins! How far from the dam are ya?
Appreciate it my man! Couple miles downstream!
🎣🤙🏻🎣🤙🏻🎣🤙🏻🐟💯
good times
Oh yes 😁
The american side is so much more calmer u guys ever fish the canadian side .. u should check out the whirl pool
Never tried the CAD side, but would like to one of these days👍
@@OutsidersOutdoorCo dude I'll meet u there ...
Tell me, please, is the fish bite on the other side the same?
I would assume so, same river👍
Bout to go up to Niagara this coming weekend. The Steelies and Lakers still biting crazy? Anything in particular you would think I would need?
I was out there again last week and they still seemed to be biting pretty good 👍🏼 a big net is always nice to have
Is that the US side ?
Yes sir, it is.
Can you recommend spot at canada side?
Not to familiar with the CAD side, but I hear the whirlpool is good 👍🏼
@@OutsidersOutdoorCo Thanks 😊
U ever keep lakers ?
I don't, I heard they taste like dirt but I'm don't know. Also the big ones are probably loaded with PCBs
Trent: 🥴🥴🥴
😘
Trent : falls in the river
Colin and Noah : 🤷♂️🤫
I swear he just slipped in, idk what happened
I feel for TRENT... must be annoying fishing with 2 douche bags constantly telling you what to do
😂🤣
Are the boaters always that disrespectful?
Thats how it works out there
