A great movie classic, Deborah Winger was a natural beauty, unlike today's actresses full of Botox fillers and lips like a goldfish. She was a great actress too.
I am watching it right now on Encore Network. I remember watching this movie while I was living in Germany. It is a very good thriller, full of suspense. This movie is underrated and overlooked. The scariest issue is that there are sick women who are "Black Widows."
Totally insane that Bob Rafaelson ruined this very noir thriller with a made for TV ending. As Ebert knew right away - there was a real erotic vibe between the two women, hunter and hunted. Ebert rewrote the ending so that Winger lets Russell kill her next victim and they are seen at the end drinking on the beach, say, BUT there should be some little tremor of fear onf Winger's part that she just might be another victim. HOW COOL that would have been - a noir classic!
I saw it in theaters and had a pretty good time, but there's a big hole. The way it's set up Russell can only get away with it if no one even suspects these widows are the same woman, because that could be established with even a half-assed investigation and she'd never be able to come up with an innocent explanation. Since Winger figures it out almost right away the movie has to work overtime to put roadblocks in her way; no one takes her (a respected FBI professional) seriously for a second; she makes a limp try at getting a relative of one of the victims to identify the Black Widow, fails and gives up (until the plot needs her to do it when it's time to wrap things up) And it's hard to believe there would be almost no photographs of the wives of such prominent men (this would make NO sense in the age of Google searching) Maybe it would've worked better if Winger only gradually figured things out as she got to know Russell, I don't know. But the ending doesn't make much sense; suddenly everyone believes her and they prove the case by doing something that should've been done at the beginning.
Thanks for uploading this. I like this movie and have seen it a few times over the year even though it seems more like a made-for-TV-movie. Worth watching.
Has anyone uploaded this movie here? If yes, Thank you. I wonder if Hollywood movie executives have thought about remake. Thank you for uploading this trailer I wish everyone Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
Does anyone remember a channel called Scream? I’ve seen bits & pieces of this movie on Scream like 20 years ago. Never knew the title of the movie, couldn’t remember any of the cast. Did anyone else watch this on Scream nearly 2 decades ago? I just wanna be sure I did for sure find the movie I’m trying to remember. I’m 99% sure it was this one.
Bella pellicola, ma niente di che, qualche spunto interessante c'è ma è per lo più è una pellicola blanda e non riesce a decollare, quindi bella e bella per me come valutazione è 7.
80's movies have something that just isn't done anymore. Miss this era.
That is pure nonsense. There are always great films.
I love this very much under-rated movie!
80's movie are the best
Nonsense.
@@Xanax-t6y why?
@@Xanax-t6ynothing nonsensical about that statement at all
Not to be confused with the recent forgettable marvel movie with the same name.
Theresa Russell is flawless and so gorgeous. This Film screams 80´s glam!! "She Mates and she Kills" … Whooooh … Shit happens, haha!

Maybe because Botox and fillers was not a thing back in the 90’s
classic movie , id watch this over and over :)
Femme fatale, erotic scenes between and twists a few years before Basic Instinct and Wild Things
This is a def not a made-for-TV Movie, it's a feature film and plays as such!
that has nothing to do with Marvel right?
Pretty obvious that is doesn't
Debra and Theresa...I always loved Debra Winger:beautiful actress and woman.

Why are there people on here asking for this to be remade?
I read all 66 comments and replies on here. Only one "person" asked for a remake.

This film is on Disney + if anyone is interested.
Not the same movie.
If Killing Eve can trace it's ancestry or owe's a debt to any film, this is it.
This and La Femme Nikita 1990.
don't get married then..if you're a business man
A million/billionaire...
The new show Killing Eve totally ripped off this movie.
They are quite similar yet so different at the same time.
