  • Justin Welsh reveals the operating system he uses to create LinkedIn and Twitter content and build a hugely successful solopreneur business in this exclusive interview.
This is a special “Flip the Script” episode! Instead of answering a guest’s questions, host Josh Spector brings on an expert he admires and asks them three questions. Today’s guest is Justin Welsh. Over the last decade, Justin Welsh has helped build two $50M ARR companies, and teams of 150+ people and raise over $300M in venture capital. Now he’s building a portfolio of one-person businesses to $5M in revenue. Outside of that, he’s an advisor to early-stage SMB SaaS companies, and an LP at GTM fund, a rolling fund investing $4M per year into early-stage B2B SaaS companies. On top of that, Justin is dominating LinkedIn and has blown up on Twitter.
The three questions Josh asked Justin Welsh are:
(02:04) How to build a content system
(14:10) How to build a successful community
(22:53) How to adapt content to LinkedIn and Twitter

    Very interesting...
I used to strive for peace-for-self to fulfill what I believed or felt was healthy for me and others with much space between us.
Lately fulfillment for me is being realized by shortening the much-space between us and now move towards more involvement within the community.
Seasons in life have a unique way of solving fulfillment for sure.
    Thanks for the great interview.

02:05 How have you created a system from start to finish? How do you identify where a system can help you? How do you start to construct one? How do you improve it once you roll it out? How do you think about and use systems?
14:15 I want to know your take on membership communities, and in particular paid membership communities. Why did you make the decision to close your paid membership? What did you learn from building a successful community? What do you think is the key to growing it, and what advice would you have for people that do want to do that?
22:59 I want to know everything you've learned about LinkedIn and Twitter. Specifically, the differences between the two. What's your advice for someone who's active on LinkedIn and now thinking going into Twitter and vice versa? What do you see about those platforms that are similar? What have you noticed is different? How have you adapted to each platform because you've managed to have a lot of success on both.

Josh, I don’t think I’ve recently watched a video that’d have an add every 2 min. This is annoying! That’s not how you attract viewers.
