Nice!
Thank you so much for having me!!
My favourite American! Great to see you on here Emily 🙏
'Sell mushrooms to mushroom lovers' that is a brilliant take away!
My friend sent me here off the email for this.
This was a great episode. I wanted to see examples of content you published before the episode so I read everything you published on X and LinkedIn in the last 3 months. None of it resembles what you said there, so I wonder which content you were testing before recording the podcast.
Here's one example from LinkedIn www.linkedin.com/posts/thatjoshspector_want-to-get-more-out-of-your-website-consider-activity-7186370324404297729-osxr?
@@JoshSpectorVideos Thanks a lot! 🙏
oooh I love this - now to decide The Word!
This is a really great way to take your one word beyond just being a word. Thanks.
What a thought-provoking 1:06 minute. Thank you very much for posting @Josh Spector.
Now, that is inspiring! Design your business around one word.
So good, I'm listening to it over and over!
Awesome - what did you think was the most interesting part?
@@JoshSpectorVideos the most impactful for me was at the very end (what business are you really in) - it tied together with the chapter in Brain Audit (thanks for turning me on to that) which is both the most interesting and gives me the most trouble, which is the uniqueness.
Great value Sticks to the core messaging
Love this! "What do I know about this subject that they don't know but they need to know?"
Yeah that was great
WOW! Outstanding! Pick your promise!
Yep. Just like those of us who enjoy this podcast. :)
Hi, I'm a someone who got an email to this clip. Love to get some behind the scene meta like that!
Glad you found it helpful!
My head just exploded from the meta-ness of this all! 🤣
Ha - it's a real Inception moment
@josh what if you do not have an audience on RUclips yet? How did you start when first implemented your flywheel?
It shouldn't really impact anything whether you have an audience or not other than I guess you'd get fewer questions initially. But you could always source the questions from people manually if need be and/or pull them from things you see people asking in social posts or communities, etc.
@@JoshSpectorVideos thank you!
Great tip Josh! I typically write an email and then remove the first 3-5 sentences.
I love Alex! 👏🏽👏🏽
Great list thanks Josh!
Yep!
Great video as always, Josh! Nicely done!
Thanks Chris!
Your put your twice on the thumbnail
Woops - thanks for the heads up!
Awesome info on flywheels'

Man, so many great nuggets in this clip!!
Thx! Full ep drops tomorrow.
Content creation is a big headache for me! The 90-day content library system is pure genius! Thanks Josh!
Saying 'no' elevates you. I love that perspective.
Yep! 😳
Gems!
The nuance is absolutely everything here
Love this! I struggled with this so long in the beginning. After listening to this episode I realize that I'm just now, 4 years in, slowly transitioning into what he called as stage 2, where I start going into the background and the products take center stage. I've already shared this episode with a few folks and will be sharing it more. I've never heard of a business process plan before. SUCH GEMS in this conversation. thanks to you both.
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful.
This whole interview was one of my favorites, Josh!
don't go gettin all logical on us here. hehe. Great advice!
TLDR: Aligning your newsletter topic with the transformation or change your audience wants can drive sales and improve conversion rates for your paid products. 1. 00:00 📈 Your newsletter topic should align with the transformation or change your audience ultimately wants in order to drive sales. 2. 00:42 📈 Customers sign up for newsletters to make a transformation and improve something, leading to better conversion rates for your paid products.
This is such a great idea for the entrepreneur who has not thought about the lifecycle of their customer's journey and how to keep extending it...
Fantastic advice! I don’t have a strong personal brand, but I do have a network of personal and professional relationships across multiple social media platforms. Sharing the value of my offerings before launching the business is genius common sense!
You probably have a stronger personal brand than you realize - you just don’t leverage it.
So good, Josh.
Hi @JoshSpector, thanks for bringing in Ryan. There is very little recent content out there on him, especially in an interview setting. I enjoyed hearing his perspectives on scaling a business and creating processes around everything, especially ones that allow you to train someone else to do what you do - which everyone struggles with, even me. I also liked his take on take on A-Players and that the term is subjective, and it is, but I’m more in favor of using the term “high-performer” to describe top talent. Which to me means individuals who have a solid track record of excelling in their roles and consistently exceeding expectations and when you hire someone like that whose aligned with your company and the role, then you have a star player. Would like to see more interviews like this. Instead of splitting up the interview into small bytes, I think you’d do better to squeeze them into shorts, just my 2 cents.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you for the information! I was thinking of creating my blog this year as I've been on Medium for a while. I also want to have my blogs, so I was wondering if it will affect our Medium Partner Program if I originally posted on Medium and then republish all my content on my blog using this method?
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it has any impact on the partner program.
Is this the guy behind Agora?
He’s the guy who founded Digital Marketer

This episode is a must-read for ANY nonfiction author, even if they aren't trying to monetize through coaching. I'm sending it to Stephanie Chandler, founder of the Nonfiction Authors Association in hopes she'll share it with the members there.
Awesome! Thanks so much for spreading the word. You can also let her know if she shares it I’d be happy to return the favor and share something of hers in my newsletter.
@@JoshSpectorVideos I'll definitely let her know.
