The impression this video gives is that they built it entirely themselves in 18 months, that's simply not true, they would have had a ton of outside contractors to do it in that time and seem to mostly have done some of the decoration and fittings work themselves. Don't be fooled this isn't "hard work" per se. it's 💰💸💰💸💰
They have very good taste and their efforts certainly paid off, the house looks amazing. It’s not easy in the least to take on a large project like that.
I love modern houses in the countryside although I’d probably have parts of the building where birds can nest more than the greenwashing thing Having barn owls & swalllows flying around is more magical than anything humans think of Nicely designed house though , can imagine it being good to live in
One of these homes with a lot of space but not a huge amount of extra function e.g sofa in a vapid room, proportions etc. Classic error if not working with professionals. Although lovely to see how much their home is for them and brings joy

It's an induction cooktop with an integrated vent in the middle. This kind of device is commonly referred to as a "venting hob". They actually work very well, if a bit noisier than an overhead one, but significantly easier to clean.
Love the house, and what a fantastic job they have done, but please stop using the word “sustainable” in properties that really aren’t, yes they might have a few solar panels and maybe ground/air source, but a property of this size is not sustainable, 4 ovens, a huge front door, a massive stair case and an absolute huge floor space, plus plenty more, sustainable should be bare minimum, the minimum amount of materials taken from the planet, this is just over consumption at it’s finest, which is fine if you don’t put it in the category of sustainable, the amount of materials that have been excavated, dug up and shipped world wide on this project is huge, I’m a property developer so I know. But I can really appreciate the time, effort and stress that would’ve gone in to this project, so I applaud you for that.

Gorgeous place but where’s the ventilation over the cooktop?

How much did this cost?

❤❤
A "round circular" dining table 😂
what was in total the cost for this house
Around £500k if I recall from the show
Sustainable? 🤔
A lot of materials look like they were mined or processed from outside the UK....
cool very
Construction workers laughing at "self build"
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿😍😍😍😍😍😍
👍
Sustainable 😂😂😂😂😂😂 please stop
The green SCAM indeed!
@dt3367 how is it a scam?
Hmmm your comment is laughable. Having renewable energy power your entire house doesn't qualify as sustainable to you??

A beautiful design of the house but a very poor interieur design.
I agree, it has not been dressed well at all. I'm guessing it is a work in progress.
