【 1 Chronicles 20 】 We can learn a different lesson through the same history! ｜ ACAD Bible Reading
Hello friends,
Let us read the Bible together. Today we’ll be reading 1 Chronicles Chapter 20.
In the last chapter, we read about how King Hanun of Ammon was suspicious of David’s intentions and humiliated the Israelite messengers, which led to a war between the two nations. Although both the armies retreated and fled, this incident did not end there.
At that time, due to the climate, the armies would try to wait until springtime to fight again. After the spring rains stopped, the crops would be ready, just in time to feed the troops.
So after some time, the Israelite army was ready to set out again to fight the Ammonites.
Let’s read chapter 20 together.
1 Chronicles 20:2
And David took the crown of their king from his head. He found that it weighed a talent of gold, and in it was a precious stone. And it was placed on David’s head. And he brought out the spoil of the city, a very great amount.
