Eating more than 2,500 calories a day is too hard for me. Sometimes I also eat less than I need. I do pilates every morning for about 23 minutes. I don't know what to do, I feel like I'll never get my period back :/
You will. Its just about reducing stress and being consistent wit implementing all the steps. There are ways to increase your calories without feeling like you are eating more e.g. liquid calories, cook with olive oil etc
@@debolinahalder9602 you can definitely try that to start as long as you aren’t doing lots of exercise to put yourself back in an energy deficit. It is about being consistent with it😊
thanks for this video🙏🏻 I have a question: I'm trying to get me period back & I feel I can't stop exercising, so if I'll keep doing it but reducing the weight, does this mean that I train without reaching the failure??
@@fatimaal2284 yess if you are trying to get your period back, I would not train till failure. That is not your current focus so just focus on gentle movements instead :)
@@Sarah-jt5xy so I actually ran a marathon after I got my period back. All your body needs is to trust you again after a long period of time of under-eating. So your focus during period recovery is to re-fuel (high calories) and low exercise. Once you have your period for 3-4 cycles regular you can then start incorporating more exercise slowly as long as you are still fuelling your body enough. Your body should trust you after that amount of time and then you’ll slowly be able to do more exercise again. The main thing is just not reversing back to what you used to do otherwise you will lose it. Hopefully that helps.
@@elizabethswann5042 no I didn’t. I just started listening to my body and not forcing myself to eat to hit the calories. My weight levelled off and as I trained more I managed to build muscle alongside it 😊

How do you go back to marathon training for example when you get your period back?

Did you do a “fat loss phase” after you gained weight and got your period back?
