When people ask me my thoughts on hybrid or electric cars, my response is usually, no thanks, I prefer my cars to destroy the planet. (How Dare You).
Yes, I’m one of those guys, but I’m also a realist who understands that at some point all new cars will either be a hybrid or completely electric. ‘
Usually, when I hear hybrid, I imagine a stubby little car with an entry level rental car interior. This is not the case with the Karma Revero.
I Looked up the word automotive presence in the dictionary, and I saw a picture of the Mercedes G wagon 4x4 squared and then right under it, a picture of the Karma Revero. If I was going to personify this car, it’s synonymous with a really attractive but really tall woman walking into the waiting room of a doctor's office.
Of course, Tall attractive women go to the doctor, but you just weren’t expecting to see something that striking walk into the doctor's office. That’s the kind of presence it has; it’s almost alien.
I’m still not sold on the hybrid electric car thing.
I know I don’t have much of a choice because that’s where cars are going. I really like how the Revero GT is still infusing passion into what would otherwise be a passionless driving experience.
Passion isn’t always tire-shredding screaming banshee. It’s can also be elegance and grace which I feel the Karma Revero GT has in spades.
I’ll likely do a hybrid before I ever do a fully electric car. I liked the ability to have both gas and electric especially with a car like the Revero GT which shocker makes for a great GT road trip car.

The first thought I had that came to mind was, 302 Boss with 351 Windsor heads, oversized valves, big Mutha thumpr cam, all the internal goodies with weien high-rise Aluminum Intake, dual Demon 450 carbs, followed by a Linco transmission with a 3800 stall converter and a 9-inch Ford rear end with strange locking pinion. A nice exhaust system with some Flowmasters for some nice sound and 118 octane fuel for that sweet smell. I would be most definitely interested then LOL. That's just me, been building hot rods for 40 years, just in my blood! Other than that, nice car LOL.

Now the important stuff. How many rifles can it carry in back seat? How many 50 cal ammo cans will fit in the trunk? What weight of ammo can it carry? Is it level 3+ protection?
Unfortunately, electric and hybrid cars are NOT "good for the environment". Or let me say it correctly: gasoline cars are not bad for the environment. They used to be a bit polluting, but by now, they practically only emit CO2 and that's not harmful to the environment at all. It just contributes to greening the planet.
People who say they are good for the environment don’t care about Third World countries and their kids with cancer!

If you want me to elaborate on electric cars, I can do that and I can tell you now that I know infinitely more about them - and current battery technology - than you!
I studied physics. I know the topic.
That wasn't even my topic, at the moment. I just said that gasoline cars are not a threat to the environment.
If you think that Tesla batteries are somehow solving the electric car problem, you don't understand the problem:
- to be viable, electric car batteries would have to support at least 5000 full charge cycles with no more than 10% capacity loss over 10 years
- they would have to chage within 3 minutes
- they would have to have no more than a 1% power loss per month in case of non-use
- they would have to hold 3x the current maximum charge
- they should weigh at most 30% of the current batteries used
- they should cost at most 20% of the current battery cost
Those conditions could potentially be met by graphene batteries, but their cost is exorbitant.
The other factor is the supply of electricity. If the entire vehicle parc was electricity powered, we'd need 6x more power on our electrical networks, given the 24/7 demand of fast charging. No more slow night-time charges etc.
Wind & Solar currently supply barely 5% of the total energy - and requires 100% backup power generation. In other words, it's a useless waste of resources, as all infrastructures have to be doubled.
They will NEVER supply 6x more than the total power we have now.
So nuclear is the only option. We'd have to build THOUSANDS of nuclear power plants.
Or maybe we should just wait until we master fusion power.

The timeliness of this review could not be worse. Now's not the time to be reviewing cars.
The car looks great on the outside. But the interior seems to be literally just as cramped as the old Karma, that made Karma go out of business, I understand the ownership has changed. But this car honestly just seems exactly like the old one but with a few body panel modifications. I have extremely mixed feelings about this vehicle. But I think Colion is making it seem better than it really is.
They look really nice, but sometimes the ergonomics of the interior don't work out for everybody. A big part of vehicle design that is often overlooked or forgotten; is accurate human scaling & human shape/height variation applied to the overall design. Definitely agree with you.

Plug-In Hybrids are the realistic solution to the future.
A 50/50 Split in Horse Power on a AWD Drive Train setup where one Axle is powered by ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) & the other Axle is powered by BEM (Battery powered Electric Motor) is the TRUE Synergestic future that we should all be looking forward to.
Just look at the Torque Curves of both Electric Motors & ICE, they are natural opposites, but add them together, you get the best of both worlds.
This is Porsche record setting Time Trial Lap on the Nurburgring, it beat the previous record setting lap held by Porsche by ~ 1 minute.
And in Racing terms, that's a HUGE deal!

The driver was averging 100 mph, that's what a Truly 50/50 Hybrid platform can bring to the masses if they put their engineering minds to it.
By day, you use Electricity in your small daily routine drives, when you need the distance / performance, you have ICE to back you up + Instant Torque of EM.
And you get AWD goodness. There's no real downside other than having to deal with both ICE+BEM. But once you do, you also have a "Portable Car Shaped" mobile generator built into your vehicle.
When traveling long range, you have the reliability of Gas Stations and that already existing infrastructure.
At home, you can recharge for Ultra Cheap daily driving routine.
You don't need a large battery for that. The Chevy Volt proved it.
Most average owners of the Volt were only filling up Gas in Single Digit #'s per year.
That's a FAR cry from pure ICE vehicles.
Everybody should be pushing for Plug-In Hybrids IMO, they're FAR more cost effective and your vehicle can last "Longer" because you put less wear & tear on it.
Who cares about what the Big Car Companies think, you get to hold onto your car for ALOT longer with Plug-In hybrids with less wear & tear.
After seeing the looks and price tag of the C8 Corvette with the V8 goodness, a hybrid just won't cut it for me. I think this is the only positive review I've seen for this car. Originally called the Karma and built by the company Fisker Automotive, I was seriously considering purchasing this car until I read the reviews. Fisker went out of business sometime around 2012. Karma Automotive was formed and purchased the rights to continue building this car, as the Revero, in 2016 and so far the reviews haven't been that much different.
With the dems taking over Colion is switching to car reviews before they take our guns 😂

I remember seeing the first vid I saw from Colion. It was alot like this and it's outstanding cinematography and narration but it was about his Saiga 12. Awesome video. That made me continue watching his videos from there on and some of the things that he would say was so real and highly important... It was uplifting.

And that individual can create more individuals... And those individuals do the same. Colion has this advantage. He can reach the Black American community much more effectively. Furthermore, being that he is involved and so extremely well versed and even EXCELS in, a shall we say, "culture", that he's a minority in...he breaks a very unnecessary mold and opens hearts and minds of the majority there. Sorry for the rambling but plainly put he is important! My stance on electric and hybrid vehicles has nothing to do with the environment. Most environmentalist policies actually cause *more* harm to the environment (say what you want about power-hungry incandescent bulbs, at least they don't contain literal toxic waste like fluorescent ones do. Incandescent bulbs can run on solar, wind, or hydro, but fluorescent bulbs are an ecological disaster no matter how you cut it.) All I care about is the economic impact.
The thing that appeals to me about hybrid vehicles is that most of them these days can get 50MPG or more. Way more. I've driven a couple of Priuses (work-related) now, and it's always fun to watch the economy guage go into the "I don't know what you're getting, but it's at least 100" zone.
The thing is, though, you have to weigh the fuel savings vs. the cost of the vehicle. Averaging 20MPG, the first 100,000 miles on your car are going to cost you $12,000. So if you pay an extra $10,000 for a hybrid which gets 40MPG, you've only saved $6,000 on gas, and you've thrown away the other $4,000 out of pocket.
Most hybrid vehicles have a premium significantly higher than $10,000.
My knowledge of guns are high, my knowledge of cars are uhhhhhh about as much as Biden knows how to run a country.
When referring to the battery capacity of the Karma you said it has a capacity of 26Kw but that is incorrect. It’s battery size is 26 Kw/h.
Kw is a measure of power output and kWh is a unit of energy. Here are examples of their correct uses.
Example -The Tesla Model S outputs 600 Kw of power through its dual electric motors
Example- The Tesla Model S has a 100Kw/h battery pack
Sorry to pick out the one incorrect detail in your video but I just thought you should know. I hope you review the upcoming Tesla Model S on your channel.

Its sleek, its sexy, but its also 150k starting price. Where you get better performance out of a Honda Accord Hybrid. Why would you need 500+ horse power when most cars now a days go 0-60 in less than 5 seconds; and even then when you're dropping 150k I'd rather get the audi R8 hybrid that was teased a few months ago. and or a Maserati Quattroporte Trofeo(top of the line Maserati sedan) for less than the starting price.
I love the car, hate the price to performance. Even if its a hybrid, right now in the market they are still over priced compared to gas powered or even other Hybrid cars that you can drop 35k for and be happy with it and still have over 100k in the bank for other stuff. The car looks very nice though. I've seen a few Fisker Karma's in real life, they are very attractive cars.
Henrik Fisker, the guy who designed it, is a talented man(he is well known for his work with other brands like Aston Martin, BMW or Artega).

Looking at it initially, I was thinking Aston Martin (which he mentioned), but the more I look at it, I see some design influence from Ferrari (458ish looking headlamps) and the whole front end of the car, from the long hood and the overall look of the front fascia screams Viper.
Cool car. I too am not sold on electric or electric hybrid. At least in my country (eastern Canada) there isn't the infrastructure to support these. I mean sure, if you are just going to work and back, you can drive it to and from, plug it in at night, and you are good to go.
But taking it on a road trip would be out of the question with the lack of charging stations. And they can't be just any charging stations, they need to be quick charge stations. No one wants their road trip/vacation interrupted because your car need a 4-8hrs charge every 300miles.
Coming in at over $140,000... Dude, come on.. Do you know how much guns and ammo, etc you can get about 2,000 rds of 9mm, 2 rifles and and 2 pistols with that kinda skrilla, lmao.
Colion my dude... That thing is 2 seconds slower than a Tesla model S and 75k more expensive, it has 400 miles less range as well.. It’s also a full second slower than the Tesla model 3 and is 100k more expensive.. What are you doing?
Law of Physics ( as we know right now). You can't get more energy out than you put in. For electricity, that means either potential energy (wind, water, gravity, etc) or primary source energy (fossil fuel). Either way, you lose some in transmission of power. Why not use the primary source to begin with??
Love my Tesla 3. Yeah road trips are basically off the menu since it's electric and I'd spend so much time sitting at a charging station.
Love how fast it accelerates. An amazing daily driver that basically is maintenance free.

You neglected to mention Karma is owned by the CCP-loyal Chinese company when they bought the assets of Fisker at a bankruptcy auction. For someone that talks about freedom, why would you entertain enriching the CCP by reviewing one of their products?!

Idk about this one, the original Fisker Karma was good for its time in 2010, now its a bit dated to me, just a facelift of a decade old car to me.
The Taycan is probably the prettiest EV to me honestly.

I don't want to see the price of that car. I heard that now that they are starting to make electric motorcycles. It's hard to say. They might even start making motorcycles in hybrids now too. I think I will have to stick with my older cars and cycles. I would never be able to afford that kind of stuff.

I have an EV so that I can fill my own tank. Gasoline is controlled by the government, so if you like them in charge of your ability to drive, and their ability to tax travel...you're right
