This car is gorgeous inside and out. Porsche should take a look at this car so that they can learn how to style a four-door. And everybody else in the world too.
You would like the VLF Destino. Bob Lutz, put 6.2 litre 638hp LS engine in a bunch of Fisker Karmas and sold them as the VLF Destino. It also doesn’t have the mustache grill.
Saw one of these right outside of OCCC here in Oklahoma City. Honestly, I think it is a pretty slick car that has been executed not too great. Love your videos. Keep up the great work as my parents are now tuned in to you as well. BTW, calling this car a 'poser' is pretty dead-on imo.
I do not see a problem with the performance...I mean, 0-60 in 7 seconds is not slow by any means; and using the engine cuts that to 5.4 seconds?...That is good performance. The problem with this car, is that it tries to look like a lightning-quick Corvette...and it is not that...but if you need ultimate speed, Teslas can rip a 3.0 0-60 time, as an all-electric.
@@curbozerboomer1773 Yeah, I don't think performance is too big of an issue, though I think the car suffers from being quick but just not feeling fast doing what it can do performance wise. Definitely I think Bill is on point though in that this car is definitely more style than substance.
Bill, the integration of the rear doors is nothing short of brilliant ... still maintaining the beautiful illusion and lines of a coup ... a tough looking, yet elegant car ... love it.
Just came in from planting flowers for HOURS and found this video.. thanks Bill for making all that hard work worth it to have your fabulous video to relax with!
this car reminds me of the hotwheels "el segundo" model. when i bought one i thought it looked like a corvette at the front. the back 3/4 view reminds me of the european renault laguna c2003. i would certainly consider one if i won the lottery . great video.
The best thing about this car is that it has me looking forward to your New Yorker video. Another great, honest review of a not-so-great car. See you at the next one.

Bill is the only one I can willingly listen to talk about a product and not want to immediately turn the video off. God help us when Bill gets sponsors because I'm about to run to home depot and get some Fiskars clippers this instant.
The only positive, uplifting words that Bill gives us in any of these videos is the first word that he says, "Good morning." It goes downhill from there.
I drove one of those too (00' park ave) and currently have an 04 Lesabre Limited -awesome cars actually, not just old people cars! I did put in a request to Bill for one of those (a last year 05 Park Ave, Ultra -which is the holy grail of those, and super hard to find now) in the comments on the Bonneville SSEi that he did recently. So be interesting to see if he does actually find one. Bill says he is quite fond of some of the GMs from that era....
05:02 Fiskars: Fiskars Group (also known as Fiskars Oyj Abp or Fiskars Corporation, and until 1998 as Fiskars Oy Ab) is a Finnish group company. The company has its roots in the village of Fiskars (in the town of Raseborg, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of Helsinki), where it was founded in 1649. The oldest business still operating in Finland !
Great review. I’m biased as I own one of the late build originals. It’s a gorgeous car. And great driver on highways, if you want to obey the law. I really enjoyed the review and the remarks in and between. Seems the reviewer likes the car a lot, and driving it he outruns a BMW. Yes, the car does not have Porsche performance, still it’s above average. Because you don’t hear ancient engine noises, and the car is so smooth, the pull up leveraging the car’s torque, happens almost unnoticed. Had Fisker continued there would have been full electric versions by now. I keep mine, and simply replace batteries somewhere in the future, once I can get 400 miles out of the battery space the car has available. Fun forever.
Hey Bill, happy Thursday!!! Thanks for sharing another exciting report on the weather, the animals, the Canadians & this interesting "Curious Car". I actually like Applebee's!!! Sorry about the double dipping, it's tragic when you drop your mozzarella stick!!! I am suspicious of a car from someone named "Fister"!!! Hmmm 🙄🥃
As a Florida resident, I agree how absolutely ridiculously hot it is here. Born in New York and forced to Florida as a child, I’m terrified of loosing everything I’ve worked for to move yet a dream of moving back up north on a daily. Come on Lotto please !!!
Hi Bill... another great review, thanks! We even enjoy checking out cars like this... that we'd never ever ever ever buy. We are looking forward to the IROC and the New Yorker. Cheers!
Making a voluptuous but space-inefficient car look cool is easy. Making a boxy, narrow van on tiny wheels cool (VW Bus) is genius. No knock on Henrik - all his designs look striking👍
My first exposure to Curious Cars. That was entertaining. Very entertaining. Doesn't matter what this guy is talking about, I'd guess.. This happens to be a weird Chinese continuation of a weird Scandinavian hybrid car maker and it was funny. I have gladly subscribed. I particularly enjoyed hearing it was the weight of a dump truck and horrible.
Very true Bill about poor kids being used to mine these poison materials which then leads to the surrounding land also being poisoned where its been mined.
Love the serial hybrid setup in our i3 REx (same principle as Karma, but with ZERO regard to looks ... it's all about function). In the era of $5 gas, it was great to travel 24,000 miles last year on 25 gallons of gas👍and yet never be slave to public charging stations or range anxiety.
Bill, You've no idea how refreshing it is to hear from someone in the car sales business that knows what the hell they're talking about. I can't tell you how many used and new cars I've owned over the years and how little the people selling the cars know about them. Perhaps, it is because I am an engineer that I have this negative mindset, but I have to tell the truth.
Epic Bill. More laughing out loud moments than normal. Double dipping Snidely Whiplash poser of a car complete with urine sample holders. Looking forward to the hideous New Yorker and the Mopar 440.

I love Bill’s reviews , but the irony of him roasting this fast & comfy beauty while praising the lethargic, non-handling & generic-looking GM B & C body shitboxes is not lost on me
Hey Bill, it made sense that this BMW guy Fisker designed this vehicle. He made sure it was manufactured with the prevalent patented "Hofmeister kink" feature. Bill: “It’ll be hot as balls.”
Bill’s forecast is more accurate.
agreed
Bill has less to say about a Fisker Karma than a 1987 Chevrolet Beretta. Never change, Bill.
I'd love to see him review a Chevy Beretta lol. That was my first brand new car, a black 1989 GT.
