I do watch them for hours. I found out where they live and bought a good set of binoculars. Perhaps you'd like to join me one evening? What kind of sandwiches do you like?
It's called giddy edge, it's really not that bad but well worth a visit for the views. Then you can have fish and chips in Matlock bath. It's like an inland seaside town. You can save yourself the walk up by driving to a village called starkholmes, park up and head for the big antenna.
I still go there every year. This year I stumbled upon a huge cave just behind the Heights of Abraham, sadly it was way too wet to venture in maybe next time though.
Hi HoE!👋🐈 1. Lloyd (? out of frame) said the magic words, "Danger Mouse"... great toons; 2. Lloyd "What are you going on about?" over Al's shoulder... 🤣 3. Jon, I really enjoyed this adventure a lot... may I have another? Most Excellent editing Lloydy!! Cyber Hugggs 🤗🤗🤗🐈
Good video guys, would like to see a part 2, was hoping to see you guys finish the path. No way could I do that, too narrow and my fear of heights comes in handy with this. You guys are crazy but wouldn't want you any other way. Take care.
Beautiful scenery. No way in hell I'd be able to walk along the edge like that. I wonder why that chasm section was gated up, it looked friggin cool. Thanks for sharing this with us! - Much love from Wisconsin ❤️
Hi. I’m from this area it’s called Matlock bath. It’s a village in Derbyshire just on the edge of the Peak District national park. The edge is called giddy edge it on the side of a hill called high tor. It was opened in the Victorian period as a amusement for people to come visit believe it or not haha. As for the chasm been closed off with gates. All the area was a lead mining operation for centuries. With the earliest known workings to be Roman from after there conquest of Britain. Hope this helps.
Come to the Ochil hills. Scotland. The paths are fairly similar to that one. Not dangerous really but quite pretty. Some of the paths that the sheep take are rediculously dangerous. 🖤🏴🖤
You Bastards! I’ve got a day off work today and been procrastinating all morning. Just about to get off my arse and do something and you upload at that instant. I shall put kettle on and roll a J. Great Work Fella’s, always appreciated 🫡
The South West Coastal Path between Lands End and Nanjizal Cove, pretty close to the edge and hair-raising with no rails. Not as high up but still very close to edge with nothing stopping you falling.
@@teestravels haha that’s okay! It’s a lovely route but just very close to edge at certain points and people come both directions so it can be a little awkward to pass people. Nanjizal is beautiful though; the cave is something else 😍
Ever heard of the Broomway? It Britain's most Dangerous road. It runs between Foulness Island and Wakering/Shoeburyness (near Southend-On-Sea). You can only travel it at low tide and its not recommended at all. Yes the road leads out off of the coast. If you get to Foulness Island (without drowning from the tide cutting you off) you'll get a free (but very pissed off) MoD escort to take you back safely (I grew up in Shoeburyness). Tom Scott did a video about it too, so maybe check it out if you haven't already.
Yep, I also thought of the Broomway. Walking along there without a local who knows what they're doing is a death sentence, especially if it's misty. You're basically walking out to sea and the tide comes in faster than a human can run. I actually hope the lads DON'T attempt this. It just isn't worth the risk.
@@UncleFeedle Absolutely. No one sane should even think about it without one of the few knowledgeable guides, like you say. What looks like a walk to the Havengore Maypole is potentially a dance on the "doomway".
Try "The Broomway in Essex" a nice coastal walk only OPEN when the BOMBING RANGE is CLOSED from Foulness Island to Southend. Map and compass suggested but not compulsory
No way! You near my area! I've been up a couple of those cliffs (may have had a little j too 😅) but not the tallest one yet. I bum shuffle down though cuz some of the drops are sketch.

Oh bloody hell this brought back very mixed memories and emotions. I grew up in Matlock and used to walk everywhere around there and Matlock Bath, the hills, cliffs and all the caves. So it was absolutely wonderful to see it again ❤ But also very emotional as my school friend, Mary, died falling off one of the cliff tops at Matlock Bath, a supervised outing that went wrong, she would have been 11 or 12, happened in 1984 or 85. It didn't stop me from walking along the really bad cliff paths dotted around the place, because when you're kids you think you're indestructible. I loved Matlock, you'd the cliffs, hills, woods and the moors all on your doorstep. The perfect place for growing up back then 😊 Really loved seeing the views again and the bridges I knew so well. Great to see it again ❤
I've been on a couple of those as a kid . I thought we were going to be tossed by the Scout Leaders . Did one though in 1995 in St John Newfoundland . By accident . When you pass a point there is no going back . We ended up climbing a rock wall on the back side of Marconi's broadcast point to the isles from North America . It was a Museum with Ghosts . We were beat and found out our hotel was a 10 minute walk away from where we were . It took us 3 hrs to get there on a Goat Trail . On the side of a Cliff . With Icebergs in Sight . At least 500 ft above the soft water landing if you slipped . You Guys should try it . Follow the shoreline . As it is . Steep
I got Bollocks why my form teacher for taking that path during the school lunchtime we also explored some of the caves…. I spent the next month reporting to the office every 15 minutes through lunchtime to make sure I wasn’t out exploring…..
You know ive sacked off so many yt chanels tonight, but I can honestly say you three pricks are the absolute BEST and funniest yt Chanel out there. absolutely brilliant Chanel ❤
Walk the strid but be very careful its 65m deep in parts it's dangerous part of the river Wharfe it's claimed several lives over the years you can also go up stream and visit Bolton Abby see if that tickles your fancy but the strid is pretty cool 👍
12:25 there've been a few videos you've seen where it's been pretty obvious how 'high' you were. I actually think I've seen you even higher this this, like that time in an abandoned school when Al dressed up as a girl then Nortan gave him a paddling, the All wore a box on his head and pretended to smoke a giant 8' long ventilation pipe or something...
