Hey Vikings! I wanted to have a casual world set up for when Ashlands comes out and I invite you on the journey to get there! I've got combat set to hard (for at least the first 6 biomes), deaths are allowed, and I generally have a fun, casual time of it. I do a little building and decorating, and the usual amount of slaying. I proceed through the game in my typical fashion but I shift my approach in the Mistlands to more of a completionist mindset, desiring to have fully upgraded EVERYTHING from the Mistlands in order to be amply prepared for when the Ashlands drop!

PSA: At the time of this recording NOBODY knows quite when the Ashlands are going to drop. Iron Gate is now saying it will be in the first half of 2024, but I WANNA BE READY!

Your farm has always been really pleasant to look at, no matter the series because they are always planted evenly whilst also being very space efficient.
The house is gonna need some fixing or extension though, with what the random wooden walls, cart and outside galdr table and upgrades making you always have to zigzag and jump before getting in the house 😅. Southerner also yearns to taste of sleeping in a comfier dragon bed isn't he? Along with one of the 2 tar-infused tables for max comfort 😢

My man!! Love the series. I know you have been busy with enshrouded project and just wanted to say thank you for putting in time to post Valheim content for your subscribers. I appreciate the commitment and effort it takes for you to do this work (some may say it’s play though 😂). One aspect I really like about the way you approach the content is how it is visually presented via the player/playing experience and environments. The zoom in/out and camera angles during combats and traversing is spot on brother. Smooth like butta baby! Would love to watch live stream from this or any other series bro. Ps still waiting for that fishing stream 😂😂

After watching you and playing hours of Enshrouded, my first thought when you went back to the Mistlands and saw that reddish fog was "careful that's deadly shroud".
Omigosh I'm definitely gonna be the same way. This was actually recorded a while ago and I get really locked in to muscle memory, etc. I'm probably gonna look like a total noob when I pick Valheim back up

It’s kind of bittersweet when you talk about being ready - I felt a little sad. But I know you still have to kill the queen and the really sweet part is knowing that when you pick it up again full force, that means Ashlands is here. ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Definitely like the idea of live stream magic leveling, or any part of this run, if that's still a possibility. :) I also concur that you should probably make your base bigger. Unless you're planning to make a new one.
Also bummed that he feels "ready" as I've really been enjoying the completionist aspect of this run.
That being said, he still needs a Demolisher!! Haha
I know what you meeeeannnn. But yeah, we can goof around in this world some, I think. I wish we had a better indication of when it was coming. Perhaps if I go post "Ashlands when, Iron Gate?!" in the discord one of the devs will tell me! ;P I sort of expected it earlier and was worried I started airing this series too late but slowed down a little when I heard "first half of 24" Yes, base definitely requires some upgrades! I don't expect to move my main base but--who knows--maybe Ashlands will require some outposting...I'm excited to find out!

I'm sure the devs haven't given a specific date because you haven't asked them yet, definitely go ahead and do that! 😏 I do think Mike's comment about the Walk and Talk is valid and they did mention it's their last one. I kinda think that with a new Elden Ring coming in June, they'd be smart to put it out in the next month or so if it's ready. Maybe I should go tell them that in discord after you post your message to them! 😉
Either way, I'm looking forward to more chillin' in the prep run and base upgrades, etc. Outpost sounds like a great plan.

You seem to have accidentally cancelled half of the casting animation. Your character didn’t do the casting animation, only the staffs animation played. Weird!
Can't help but agree. Or, well, I could see some sorts of magic, but outright wizardry is a bit weird. I do still enjoy it though too! 3:18:20 Just don't die, lol....WH0OPS!

Thanks! I think the base we are currently living in will remain as our main base. We are pretty far South, after all. I do plan on making some extensions to the base.

@2:08:00 regarding the need for iron - there's no way the Ashlands will need iron, right. RIGHT??? sigh.... I guess that's why they added more ways to get iron in the Mistlands.

@@ThreadMenace hey I checked out the cover wiki, it really just mentions not covering them more than 60% to keep them happy for honey production, it doesn't really discuss having them so close. My bees will be far away and still say not enough room, but yours are all right next to each other and up on a wall lol
