- To practice making patterns on the CNC I made a simple RUclips play button. For molding sand I am using sand mixed with sodium silicate and harden it with co2 gas.
My CNC was provided by my supporter STONEYCNC

Good video, that CNC did a really good job of making a nice smooth surface finish.
I like how the hole outside is smooth and shiny but the it's the play button it's rough it looks dope

hi, what is the sand company name that u use to cast and what is the chemical that u put in the sand to mix?
2 questions.
1: why did you spray paint the wood button?
2: do you keep the wood version of the casting you made(every video) or just throw the wood version
Wen working with MDF on a CNC it leaves a fuzzy finish. I spray it with primer an sand it before I paint it with glossy paint and that so it would be less likely to stick to the molding sand.
And yes a have all of my wood patterns

You do realise it is a process if low grit sandpaper then followed by multiple higher grit sandpaper then followed by polish

its actually CO2, used to cure the sodium silicate that is mixed through the sand, this makes the sand go hard.
It's 105,387 just 5,387 are more for a sliver play button.... Dammit...

Yeah, I guess that if you think quickly of each number separately, 10 less 8 is 2, there are two 8s, so you put two 2s together if it's early and you're not yet very well awake ;)
I have a stupid question: If you take an aluminium bloc, can you use the CNC to directly machine aluminum ??? Or is it not possible ? Too hard material, or that needs a more expensive CNC or something else I'm missing ?
