Great build, Awesome music, and glad to see you keep the guard on your angle grinder.
New subscriber here! I have been watching some of your older videos and I am impressed with how your skill has improved over the past couple of years of videos. I will probably never make anything like this, but I absolutely enjoy watching the process!
you should expand outside of just aluminum castings and go bigger and better. Id's sure be cool to see you be casting copper or brass or something, although you would probably have to upgrade your furnace.
There will be a update video soon where I explain my plans for my channel
Awesome build. can't wait for more.
I’ve watched (in person) someone cast a bronze sword with the same method as this before.
This was really cool btw!
I don't know why it's feels so satisfying to watch the whole 😳😐
Really enjoyed watching this.. would love that club 👌🏻
Izskatās super!!! 🖒
والله إنك فنان تستحق اكثر من ٦١مليون
You have the baddest ass set up I have ever seen.
I like This guy and his Aluminum stuff
That's what we call, a perfectionist
Great Video MP!
Awesome video as always! Wasn't sure when you were going to release another video. Such a joy seeing your notification pop up on my phone. keep up the great work!
Another Great Casting , long break but worth it. 👍
Heck yeah bud. Good video
very cool sir. y'all are incredibly talented.
Love your vids ❤️❤️
I wish you could post more, love watching this stuff being forged.
Well done again!
Awesome job keep it up
amazing work
Nicely made guy
Very good job
Would love to see you make something cool out of brass.
GreatSmithanon yeah like maybe some brass knuckles?
8:16 your billy club is TRIGGERED
Edged weapons are good. Just in case, it’s good to carry such a tool in a car! 👍
perfect piece for inside the door of my truck
Could be cool if you made an axe.
aluminium axe wouldn't last long. even moulded steel axe wouldn't last long, the edge would be way to soft to chop anything it would just dent and in the end break. :(
+Jan Bojarski diresta made one and that held up well
Diresta made an aluminium handle fore an axe, the axe head was forged steel.
+Jan Bojarski no he did also make a axe head out of one, there two seperate videos
can you send me a link to that video because I only seen 2 video; one with the hatchet, and with a two handed sledge axe
That is pretty damn awesome! I know truckers that would pay top dollar to have that as a tire thumper.
Getting better every time. I feel sorry fro anyone who tries to rob your place lol, they'll have a few surprises
alec steele needs to watch this
can the sodium silicate be reused after it's been hardened by the CO2 gas?
Dont mess with him!
Awsome
Nice job. The music is fine. Using sodium silicate was cool, but a little pricey for this project when petrobond would have done just as well.
I can't get petrobond in my country, but I found a supplier in UK but shipping is almost twice the price of the petrobond
Nice video. You should try to cast one of these fidget spinners, that would be cool!
cool
thanks 👌👌👌
COOL VIDEO I SUBBED
Cool cool
انت رائع = you are amazing , in my language 😍
You should do some sort of sword dragon!
another high quality video. keep it on.
i dont know how expensive it is. but ive we would spend money for a big project, like a armor, or somethink like that. it is possible ?
Nicee
you got tallent man
You should try styrofoam casting! It's fun, easy and it will be fun to watch
Man they play some weird baseball in Latvia
Are you able to reuse the sand after casting? What type of sand are you using? And what part sodium silicate to sand is the mixture?
Finally
I would not mind seeing a casting a Lantern Corp ring
what kind of lathe is that and what saw do u have for that
any reason why you use laminated wood for the mold box?
hmmm wondering can u make a aluminum butterfly knife
Love the channel. Any chance you could do a morningstar?
Yes that's on my to cast list
Make your own youtube playbutton
Damn good bed side weapon . I prefer my 1911 of course but 😭 😭
Why the compressed air?
What does it do?
Why do you paint the wood before casting?
why did you make a single pouring hole without a raiser?
What does the co2 do?
hello what kind of tape are you using ?
Quick question, what's the final coat you used at 1:37 made of? Is it some kind of anti adhesive spray or just black paint?
I use primer an glossy black paint
What is the liquid that you pour into sand?
Why do you paint the the wood bat for
Do you sell any of your creations? Just curious.
How much do you charge for one of them?
العراق بلد الحضارات القديمة
#RIP old foundry
Nice " tire checker" / "fish dispatcher" as we call them here
make a solid brass bat then it looks gold
MP DRAGON can you make a metal tonfa?
put some damn supports under your blower, would make the nozzle last alot longer.... i can see why the other one gave out with the heat and stress it had to deal with.
ever thought of trying an aluminum gutentag?
You could cast m9 bayonet, I would love to see that!
اخوك يحيى 😎😎
Is the point of painting it so that the mold will be smooth?
Yes
подписываюсь только изза видосов с литьем металла
What is the liquid you pour into the sand? And what are you spraying into the mold?
The liquid is molten aluminium, he sprays, I believe nitrogen, to harden the sand.
The liquid is sodium silicate, aka water glass. It hardens when exposed to carbon dioxide (CO2), which is what he's injecting through those holes in the side of the casting flasks.
U never put the logo on its official
I like This guy and his Aluminum stuff
why with the colored paints on wood mods
Why you didnt put the usual logo on this billy club?
1. Have you ever dented your bats? 2. Nice vid. Also why are their 7 people who said first
not really. they get scratched and that's it
Make a vid n how u make your casting sand
Jonathan Ibarra sodium silicate
what's the sand you use? What's that water stuff you mix with it? What do you blow into the sand? And is the sand re useable? I want to try this
It is as simple as reading the description, and as you see in the video the sand can be reused
oh.. forgot about that. Thanks. Is it fine grain sand? Will the sand air dry, and be hard enough to use?
I use regular fine sand I both at the hardware store. It wold harden from the CO2 in the air but it wold take a long time
okay thanks:)
did I miss the emblem on this one?
Hi plz reply but it's been a while I loge you setup
what sand do u use for casting
regular fine sand mixed with sodium silicate
Why is it that I never see RUclips videos where anyone ever follows the basic bandsaw safety rule of keeping the blade guide close to the workpiece? Oh, it must be safe because no one ever cuts their finger off in the video? Safety came first in my shop or they would be out the door.
hey you should make aq battle axe
How is the shop going man
Update coming soon
Hey man just warning you. You probabaly shouldn't weld without setting your cameras light settings to really low. Doing it how you do it runs a chance of damaging the iris in the camera
Curious as to why you use the air on the sides. Care to enlighten me?
That's not air but co2. it hardens the sodium silicate mix in the sand
MP Dragon makes perfect sense. thank you.
