I really like your idea of being more mindful about which products you add to your collection and rediscovering the products you own already! Many of us have added to our collections and are busting at the seams! I have a hard time using it all, storing it all. I also have pangs of guilt about all the money that I've spent. I hope more people on RUclips embrace this idea about exploring what they own and using those products in different ways.
Besides this channel ❤, I also recommend that you check out Julia Adams and Lauren Mae Beauty, if you haven’t already. They do shop my stashes, and usually reuse a lot the products that they love, so they inspire me to do the same. They also review new makeup, but that isn’t their main focus. For a very minimalist approach and reflections about reducing spending and sort of anti-hauls, you may like Hannah Louise Poston 😉

I can't imagine as a RUclipsr how much make up you get. I'm sure it is overwhelming. I actually went through my eye shadow palettes the other day and got rid of like 15, most never even used. It feels nice to declutter and then reorganize in a way that makes sense. I found things I forgot I even had.

It's nice to see a declutter with the intention of keeping a collection more curated, so often you see a declutter followed up by massive hauls to reclutter. Or someone declaring a low buy, and then announcing they bought hundreds of dollars worth of products the next month. I understand for many it's their jobs but I am personally over it. My annual budget is $250 for the entire year! Anything this declutter was very inspiring, enjoy your downsized collection and truly getting the most enjoyment out of your products!

Keep an orange wood stick handy to open your clip products. Works good for me, no more broken nails for me trying to open that type product. Love these ki d of videos. You get so much product you could never use them up before they are old!

Your eyes look GORG, I did a declutter recently too. And what’s funny is, u got rid of most of the products I got rid of, I quit quite a few brands and colour pop is one of them. I don’t buy to buy anymore, I have to really really like the product, it has to intrigue me before buying it. Can’t wait to see all the videos u have in store for us, 😘❤️
I think Colour Pop puts out too many different pallettes lol. I bought one of their pallettes last year and I do like the formula as well as the colors. But some of their pallettes are just too....garish for my taste.

Great Idea! We all need an evaluation of stuff we have stored in our drawers and closets that we actually don’t use! I do this 3 times yearly in all cupboards and closets and give away to Good Will! They appreciate the donations,especially at Womens shelters.👍
I’m not a RUclipsr but I just did a large declutter myself for the new year. My husbands face was priceless 💀 Also, I’ve decided on a no-buy (exception of foundation I use up, because two are almost empty) for 2023. I still have WAY too much!

Question. What type of smell are you looking for to determine it’s gone bad? Some makeups have a scent so it can throw me off sometimes
It would just smell different than it normally smells! When my kosas concealer went bad it smelled like paint lol

I’ve been donating makeup for years and every place is different. Gently used is usually acceptable at most places
