What do you use to prime your eyes?
I always use the Rare Beauty eyeshadow primer (shop-links.co/cgNXPDwjyHy) and I set that with a translucent powder.

Per blushes, Milani and Moira are real winners, and an honorable mention of Kokie powder blushes (the ombré ones). Every one they’ve released has worked so well for me. I prefer matte so I can control my glow and those ones they make with the rose imprint are so so good. The Milani baked ones are so smooth and both have cream blushes that are pretty, blendable and long lasting.
Laura Geller makes amazing baked blushes. If you like the Essence baked blushes, you’ll like hers and she offers multiple finishes, including matte.

I love LYS and Laura Geller’s baked products. All of them, balance and Brighten, her baked shadows, baked blushes apply almost like a cream but have all the pluses of a powder.

@@Cancionera40Milani baked powders actually have the same finish as the Hourglass powders do! Very beautiful and a fraction of the cost.

Omg these processes of going through makeup and getting rid of what you don't use on a daily basis is SOOO hard, I need to do this myself but I'm scared too lol

I think what I'll do here soon is go through my products and see what I absolutely use every single day and put everything else in a box, that way if I miss it or still need it, it's still around me!
I am obsessed with 💄 and lip glosses so that's going to be the toughest area for me!
Love that idea of putting things in a box but not getting rid of it right away! We all have our products that we hoard a lot of 😝 mine is palettes lol
@@angelaabright oh yes, and the keepsake products and items 😍 I still have my very first foundation/sponge brush lol that thing is so old and used looking but it's my very first foundation brush I ever used and it is still a good size brush, so I don't think I'm ever going to throw that away! And your palette my husband got me for Christmas, even when I've used up every shade I'm going to keep that thing until I die lol, I've still got the box it came in and the clear shield with you and sigmas name on it ☺
I really like the formula of the Juvia’s Place blush duos (I think I’m currently loving volume 2). And Too Faced had always been a consistent favorite of mine.
For powder blushes I am still a Tarte stan. I like J Cat for another drugstore option. Still love the essence and Milani baked blushes.

My favorite blushes are the MAC mineral blushes! I hope they expand with more colors ❤

I love this idea at the end of the year! I'm decluttering other things in my life as well and started “practicing” in December so that by January it will be a habit. I'm saving this video and going to go back through it to write down some of those lipsticks. I wear most of the same colors you do. This year I finally figured out my skin tone is neutral to cool and much lighter than I thought.
I think the nude lip on you looks great, because I doesn't compete with those awesome eye looks!
That Dior blush fell flat after it went viral. I resisted, but I did cave on another color and its too peachy! I love NARS blush in Impassioned with an Hourglass Ambient “blush topper” in Ethereal Glow.

I need to declutter my makeup collection as well. I have a lot of products. Need a clean up for 2024!
Very productive! 😊. I just moved and had to declutter everything from clothes to makeup. Felt good! Then, once I got moved, the box with my daily essentials - perfume, primer, foundation and bronzer were lost -had to repurchase everything! Next time, I’m moving my essentials in my purse, lol. 😂

These videos are so therapeutic for me. I love that you do them, I also utilise them for how I view my own make up and skin care. I know I hold onto things that I should de-clutter and I go way beyond dates etc! Since watching your de-clutter videos it’s given me a bomb under my butt about it and I am almost certain my skin has been paying iff from it. I think sometimes you forget that it isn’t always good for you in different ways than just; how much it cost or how pretty it is. You have to remember your skin health too. Thank you for those reminders and of course for making these videos to light those butt dynamite 🧨😂🤣 I swear I was a lazy woman before watching your videos ❤

My all time favorite powder blush for high-end is MAC ❤. And drugstore is L'oreal Infallible and Cover Girl True Blend ❤

I Recommend WetnWild Pearlescent Pink Blush, Milani Luminoso Blush, and The Scott Barnes Blush Palette 🎨
I don’t have any real basis for giving out blush recommendations because I haven’t tried too many different formulas. That said, I really like the application and “stay with it-ness” of the Tarte Amazonian clay tester that I received this year as a free gift. I did not, however, love the Ilia color stick that I also received as a free gift. And I absolutely love the liquid (cream) ones by Rare Beauty - Bliss is beautiful but too light for me when I’m tan 😢
I just discovered Danasa Myrick’s Yummy Skin blushes…oh my gosh they are so good!! Thank you for these videos!! You inspire me to clean out my makeup collection. Which is rather large and I am not a social media influencer!! 😂😂
I purchased the Lawless Wedding Day lipstick because it looked so pretty on you. I'm a bit lighter than you but I could tell it would work for me. I'm so happy that I did. So far my favorite blushes are from Hourglass, Fenty Beauty, Rare Beauty...but there are so more I want to try. Great declutter. I get having to keep some for your job, but I'm so happy to see you keeping more what you want than keeping for video purposes. I hope this helps bring you joy when looking at your makeup. For powder blush my go to especially in the fall/winter is Nars sin. Yep, I still love a bars blush lol. Looks a little scary in the pan, but it’s beautiful. My complexion is similar to yours 😊
Love a good Nars blush I have the soft air matte blush in shade orgasm and OMG the pink flush and golden glow it gives is beyond beautiful!
Luckily I bought it at a discounted price 😂
I am also interested in Laura Geller baked blushes. Emily Noel did a video yesterday using quite a few of her products. Great video Angela. I would hate to go through my lipstick collection. I really enjoyed watching this and you’ve inspired me to do a declutter. I have to agree with you about the Dior powder blush. I never use it and it’s too powdery looking. I do really like the Mario cream blushes and I just bought a second color. I love the All Hours foundation and I just bought the new Mac one last week and while it’s beautiful, it’s a little too glowy for what I like. I’ve only used it twice though so we’ll see. Hope you had a great Christmas day. Mine was very chill this year. I’m just so exited to be on holidays!!!

I agree with the Hourglass being super greasy in the summer. However, in the winter it performs wonderfully on my skin because it’s so super dry here in the desert.
Haven't tried Laura Gellar blushes in years either. Maybe I'll look into it!
Gah lipstick - that and eyeshadow - I have so so many but can't part with them even though I only use a few!
Question - the lawless lipstick does it actually plump your lips? I don’t really want a lip plumper but love the finish look of the lipstick!

Smell your Kosas bronzer. Many people have reported that theirs turned, they smell like stale cold Mc Donalds french fries 😢😮

Yes it’s past the 12 months but if the formula smells/feels fine I’m okay with using it. I didn’t mention this but the Born This Way foundation I got rid of has changed in consistency

I'll admit, I didn't watch the video but tried to scroll through the transcript. What do you do with all these items: trash them, donate unused items? I jnow with out trash service all recycling has to be cleaned out. I cant imagine the time it would take to scrape out product so the package can go to recycling. Yet, think of all that waste in the landfill. 😢
Good question! Anything that is in good condition and isn’t too old I give to friends and anything they don’t take is donated to Project Beauty Share. Anything that has gone bad or is too old does go in the garbage

That's a whole lotta makeup! I have some blush and pressed powder ideas but they are odd brands I got from Amazon. The one popular name brand blush would be Laura Geller. Probably misspelled that in my drug-induced haze. (Had surgery on that leg today.) If i can remember i will send you the names of some of the powder blushes and pressed powders I use. And bonus - they are cheap. (But dont look or feel cheap.) This was a fun video! Happy New Year! ❤
