For Poch this camp is all about setting a baseline and Poch seeing which guys he can use, there'll be changes vs Mexico, but remember these are friendlies, next month will be more interesting (actual competitive games), it's a process and things won't change overnight
B+? How can that game be just short of an A? Panama was more dangerous but unlucky in the second half. USA had nothing in the final third in the first half. What edges it above a C is the score and the ‘professional’ close out of the game. B at best.
@@MLSMoves okay, good points. but that's a pretty low baseline? how would you rate us for that game? D? D+? except for weah's dumb move, we were only marginally better than a third tier team. sorry, just trying to keep it real.
I'd put Pepi over Balo. Balo has sucked pre Copa Amarica and even during Copa America. He scores 1 goal, and suddenly we forget how bad he's been, and he's now the sacred cow. This is why I just can't take any of you pundits seriously.
It was a mediocre game. Still looking sloppy. They didn't create too many good chances. Some players need to be given a pink slip. Lund and Zendejas were poor. But so were Musah and Aaronson. I'm starting to believe that Adams was the glue that held the midfield together. The only thing that was slightly better was that the players played with more urgency.
@@nerychristian lol. Do you think that the US is better than what they showed in the files today? Bro, you keep talking about the great talent that you have. Playing football is more that counting the names in a Panini album.
Not bad for a first game. I will be patient because I know this will be the best World Cup team we have ever had in 2026.
2026 is all that matters
It's finally Argentine soccer philosophy in America, you will not understand it. USA ranks 18th and 22nd in 2020 Argentina ranks #1
Our off the ball movement was much better compared to Gregg ball
100%
We are so back!
Like we never left

100%. This needs to be kept in mind
Panama had some really good chances, just missed a few of them. US also missed good chances. Would like to see them capitalize with more goals
Have to when we play better teams
USA's second goal never would have counted if they had VAR. Pepi was clearly offside.
I believe he was on side watch the replays
pepi was behind the ball, doesnt matter where the defender is

I give it a B+ because this was his first game and we did find a way to score. Also this is the same team who beat us at Copa America.

Balo over Pepi right now?

It’s early still. Have to get better game by game though
