  • "What do you do when the man who was obsessed with you, the man you thought you had gotten away from; who you believe kept following you; shows up in front of you?
    I want to know because I don't.
And, what do you do when he tells you that he was trying to protect you, because he wasn't the only person who had their eyes on you?
On one fateful day of the program that I met him. Edgar. He was mid-40s - he'd been in the military - but despite his appearance, had a soft personality. He was a guest speaker, and when he finished, I went up, got acquainted, and we hit it off. Then one night, at the theater, while were backstage, we came up behind me, and began caressing neck, saying "your collar is off". Then, one by one, his hands began to travel down, past my shoulders, my back, and eventually my hips. Instinctively, I tried to inch away but his hand closed. He was now gripping me. He gave me a squeeze before letting go as the audience applauded. One hundred eyes on the stage and none could see what had just happened to me. I packed up my stuff, said I wasn't feeling well, and left then and there.
After a while, I got a new job as a cashier. Edgar showed up and made a beeline toward me. I felt my heart pick up it pace. I felt my mind was race. I wanted to run, but I couldn't. I was just stuck there, a cold sweat running down the back of my neck like his hands once did. By the time he made his way up the line, I could barely breathe. I braced myself but he didn’t say anything to me; just smiled and left. Ever the optimist, I wanted to believe he'd moved on - forgotten. But after that day, he kept coming back. I was ready to quit again when one day, during a late shift, as I was about to clock out, Edgar walked through the door - past the 'closed' sign - toward me and said, "You are being followed." I felt every hair on my body stand up, felt myself gasp for air. I wasn't just paranoid. I was actually being watched. He reached out to my shaking hands and I held on. Despite everything, he was all I had. He offered to escort me to my car. And after a moment, I said "okay."
There were only a few cars in the parking lot that night. Mine was the furthest away, and between me and my car, there was only one other vehicle. A quick look saw that it was empty, so we made a beeline toward my car. Just as I was about to reach my car, I grabbed for my keys when I heard a car door open behind me. I turn around, and it was Edgar, cloth and rope in hand. There was no one else. It was his car. It was always him.
Then, he pulled me into his car.
My hands grabbed at the edges of the door frame. I could feel my heart racing as my mind told me to fight for my life. I could feel one of his arms still tightly around my waist as the other one wandered lower. I was terrified and couldn’t think at all. I used all of the strength I had to pull myself out of his grasp and onto the pavement of the parking lot. My knees hurt when I hit the ground, but there was no time. I jumped to my feet and sprinted towards my car. I shut the door. Locked it. And stepped on the gas. In my rear-view mirror, I could see him, standing there, still watching as I turned the corner, and drove to my parents'.
I didn't tell them what had happened. Not my parents, my workplace, or the police. Edgar had a military background and he probably had connections. I felt too afraid to come forward, so I didn’t. Instead, I ditched my old phone number, old license plate, and applied for a transfer to another store downtown. It was one of my new co-workers, Holly, giving me a hug as I burst into tears. She held my hands in hers and told me that I should never feel like I deserved anything that'd happened; that they no one else could would ever fully understand what I was went or was going through. She would later become my girlfriend. I never saw Edgar again.
Before, I didn’t understand why someone would keep something like that to themselves. Why would they let someone get away with it? But I understand now that there can be many reasons people don’t speak up. Don’t ever let anyone victim shame or blame you. They do not know your story."
We chose this story because we want to encourage people to speak up if something similar has happened to them and to seek help if they're still in such a situation. We hope this video will encourage people to feel empathy and compassion for those who have gone through such experiences. And we hope that it will encourage us all to do what we can to prevent these things from happening. Even if it does happen we want to encourage people to speak up for their own safety

Well, that is not entirely correct. Whether someone has more masculine or feminine appearance depend upon the concentration of hormones within their bodies, for example is a woman has higher levels of testosterone she is going to look more masculine. The hormones not only regulate the way we look, but also the way we act, so a person with greater amounts of testosterone will have more traits associated with masculinity, than the one who has less of this hormone and grwater amount of estrogen.

Part of his story that I REALLY relate to is the paranoia. I remember going to school and scanning crowds. Having dreams of him finding me. Whenever I walked around school alone, telling myself that he wouldn’t, COULDN’T, be there. Whoever’s story this is they are so strong. They have been through so much. They shouldn’t have had to, but were strong nonetheless.

facts bro I’m a 5’4-5’5 guy and i always get called a girl and looked on as petite. Im a sophomore in Highschool goin into my junior year and my whole sophomore year guys stared, checked me out and even flirted with me. some go as far as groping me or touching me and im like one of the shortest guys in school so im defenseless. I also have had some very bad encounters with older men checking me out in public and smirking at me everytime I notice them checking out my body. I take on a lot of my moms features and more of her chromosomes and so my whole body is built more feminine so it’s not rare that I get checked out alot. I just know that going into school I’m going to be more vigilant because my hair is way longer now and I look more feminine than before

@Haris, same but i'm a woman, my friends have always ade fun of the awakward way i talk very deep voice and my body is big boned so i naturally look more manly and they akways imitate my body language and laugh at how awkward i am. I have never been in a relationship and feel like im dying craving love and to feel like a woman, because maybe i would feel more like a woman because i have a man.
I also unf became very rigid and more on yhe masculine side as to pritect myself because ppl did not take me seriously unless i was aggressive and taking up big space energy.
I know who i am, i have always been att3acted to men and ppl can laugh or make me feel bad about myself, but im acceoting myself as i am and i dont have to prove anything to anyone that i am feminine or a woman. I know I am & embrace it, with or without a man by my side :)
So don't pay heed to ridficuke or other ppl's views or insecurities about you or maybe it's about themselves idk, to make them feel better about themselves.
Ppl will always be ppl, what natters is what we think of ourselves and how we view ourselves. I don't think you have to think much about being self concious now, ppl fall in love with your energy & atttraction is mostly not physical, it's more an energetic match, chrmistry and a deep connection that one feels with one another, that gies beyond looks and mannerisms. Im sure your woman will love all the quirky things you do that you dislike about yourself or are insecure about. Just be your true self and one can always improve areas in one's life one is not happy with, it's an inside job, happiness is inner work :)
Love & accept yourself as you are, and be compassionate with yourself and kind. Being critical and judgemental about urself others will only make the problems apoear bigger or persist, one will find flaws in everything everyone.
      Good luck Brother! ✊🍀

I am much older now, although I too was a victim of an older aggressor when I was younger. This guy operated the distribution office for the newspaper for our small town (the paper route boss). The paper route boys would go to his office and gather the newspapers for their particular paper routes. Each week we would have to pay him for the newspapers we delivered to our customers (after collecting the monies from each of our paper route customers).
Anyway this man (the paper route boss) was in his late 20’s at the time and would offer to help us out from time to time by taking us around our paper route in his car rather then having to use our bikes. He would also organize basketball games among the paper boys (he would divide us into shirt side and no shirt side teams). He would also take us around town in his car at night to inquire to address’s that were not subscribing to the newspaper (we were given a bonus for any new subscription we were able to obtain).
I was much like this kid in the story (my nickname was even peach’s because of my soft skin), my parents were often fighting so I rarely stayed around my home. During summers I would usually take off on my bike and ride everywhere just to stay away from my home. I would average well over 20 miles a day riding all day long, so I developed a very thin and well defined body (my legs were very shapely, I would even have my paper route customers telling me that on my route).
To make matters worst ‘this was back in the days when boys would wear very short shorts (OP Brand with no shirts or t-shirts that were cut in half just below the breast of your chest).
The paper boss seemed to be very nice to me, he would even call my mother and tell her how hard I worked and if she would mind if from time I would go with him looking to gain new subscribers for the paper or help him with varies jobs he needed help with. He would have me help him unload the truck that brought the newspapers from the larger town they came from. He also knew my family life was not the best and that I stayed away from home as often as I could, so over time I was spending a lot of time with him, I would even go over to his home often and help him move things around (he was single at the time).
He was a little on the heavy side and short. I was taller then most of my peers (I ended up becoming 6’2’), and again I was rather lanky (although very well defined and extremely naive at the time)!
Looking back I now realized I was like a person being boiled alive and not knowing it (by the temperature of the water slowly rising until it was boiling). This guy was having me do jobs with him that would require me to take off my shirt because of how hot it was and climb up ladders in order for him to hand me boxes or for me to get boxes that were up high to give to him (also, again the shorts at the time we wore would basically huber around the butt and were loose), so it didn’t take much of a stretch on his part to look up and see my private parts very easily. He would also often hold my legs to help balance me so I wouldn’t fall!
I was being groped visually and then later physically very slowly without ever realizing it at first. When we were in the car he would playfully squeeze my thigh (at first near my knee, although as time went on he started squeezing closer toward my private areas). This went on for several months until I was in the car with this guy late at night (allegedly looking to obtain new subscribers for the newspaper) and he put his hand on my thigh and was not squeezing like he had done in the past, he slowing (with out saying a word) moved his hand up my thigh and started touching my private areas. I was extremely confused (again I was very naive at the time). For a while I did nothing and he continued caressing my privates, then he took his other hand and placed it in his pants and started masturbating. What seems like an easy answer to most, wasn’t very easy for me at the moment, I was in total shock.
Finally, and to this day I could not tell you how long (or how long he jerked off), I pulled alway and I moved closer toward the passenger door of the car (this was when cars had bench seats).
Amazingly he said nothing (like it didn’t happen) and pull his pants back up and drove off with me clinging as close as I could to the passenger door (no one wore seat belts then).
He drove me home and I got out and he acted as if nothing happen. Just like the guy in this story I never told my parents or anyone else for years. I stayed away from this guy and would make sure I was never alone around him (I would make sure when I got my papers others were getting their papers at the same time). He never ask me to go with him to try to get subscribers ever again nor did he ask me to help him to extra work.
I was scared to death afterwords like the guy in this story. If I was riding my bike or walking around and saw a car approaching that even looked like his car, I would hide before it got to me. I never gave him eye contact when I had to pay my paper route money each week (I would sit the money on the counter and keep my eyes looking at the ground). Luckily after a few months later the guy quit this job and started to operate a local gasoline station in our little town (needless to say I never got gas at that station as I grew older).
After I graduated from high school and moved on to college then into the military I never confronted this guy or ever wanted to see him when I occasionally came back to visit my family. Later I heard that he died of cancer when in his 50’s.
To say this affected my life at the time would have been an understatement (it’s ashamed that my parents were too involved with their own battles not to notice what was going on with me), although as I grew older I can honestly say it became nothing more then a bad experience in my life (although I assured myself that nothing like this was ever going to happen to my kids and I can tell you beyond a doubt it never did).
Sadly enough more then often then not this goes on with those who you trust the most (and more often then not unreported for all the same reasons), although it really doesn’t take a very sharp eyed parent to notice, just a parent who is involved in their children’s lives!

I've also had a few incidents with older men like this but not as serious, they touch my shoulders, hips and hair as I walk past and some even walk next to me and put their arm around me. Look around you and see if there's actually someone you trust that will actually help your parents friends that you probably didn't even know that could help you, anybody. It's only fair that you can be strong but you can't always be strong by yourself. It's nice to have someone in your corner, isn't it?

So my take is, we're all created to please the satisfaction of our desire, and I thank God for beautiful males.

Thats to attract females. Its sexual selection. Being colorful has nothing to do with male humans. No offense thata a ridiculous comparison. Human males didnt evolve sexual displays like colorations or longer feathers or others. Humans are a tournament species meaning males competed for fertile females in our history. Like mosr mammals. Hence males bodies are bigger and usually stronger than females on average. tournament species include humans and most mammals especially primates.birds and some other smaller mammals and fishes that is sexual mate choice ans they dont competefor fertile females like other mammals do. Again comparing a bird to human is a scientific fallacy and doesnt say anything about us humans

Even though telling someone is great it’s also great to know how to defend yourself because sometimes people just won’t believe you and they just won’t be able to do anything. Don’t be afraid to tell people to stop or to push or hit or kick or grab someone if they touch you somewhere you don’t want to be touched or do something to you that you don’t want them to do to you. Nobody wether you’re close to them or not has the right to touch you in ways you don’t want to be.

this video just popped up in my recommendations, when tomorrow i have to go to university again. idk what this universe is doing, but this guy at our university who already has a girlfriend keeps on poking my bare arm, waist and thighs. i initially thought it was a friendly gesture that everybody else do, even though it was uncomfortable for me. i barely interact with people, especially men cuz im having panic attacks when poeple crowd around me. but in order to get through this and to make a friend circle at university i kept on holding myself up, until one day i was resting in the university lobby area he approached me and scratched my thighs. i felt disgusted. i stood up and walked away. then i kept on ignoring him and tried my best to stay away from him. but still he comes and pokes me. i dont know if im overreacting and its just a normal friendly gesture. i just want him to stop doing this.

Because of how feminine someone looks, doesnt mean that they would want to be used, abused or played. Imma bet that no matter how feminine he looked,I'm sure as heck, he is tough!
