My aunt did the same with her friend in this story she just shrugged and said " I don't think I can do anything about it."

I'm glad she knew the right thing to do and report it right away because the law does not care about the people. Long story short, the jury couldnt find enough evidence, found him not guilty and I've only ended therapy last summer. Currently my family (the ones one my side) are fighting a case to keep up a 1 year protective order that he appealed. I'm so glad her case took the better turn. Believe she says that he acted shocked and we're all pretty much thinking well good, and hopefully like any decent man he's gonna march straight in that bedroom after seeing her to her car, and throw that dude out, esp since that ain't even his house...
But what probably ended up happening is he either didn't even confront him or say anything instead pretending like he knew nothing at first...
Or, maybe even that he did go talk with him or both them and that's when harley lies and says that never happened and she was already awake the whole time she was there and everything...🤷🏼‍♀️ Idk tho

That's why you should stand for yourself , Don't let people sexual assault you or do something bad to you EVEN he/she is your family or friends
if you don't do it now , it'll go further and they wont stop and at the end you can ended up really badly
if you had ANY problems tell your parents or your mom because they're more mature and they know what to do
they probably scolded you but deep down because they cared about you and they will come to your defense ❤️

He touched her under her shirt and then her shorts before she rolled over, instead of getting up out of bed. Her first mistake was not screaming to wake Harley as it happened. Of course Harley doesn't believe her, she has no knowledge of the event. She was so quiet until her foot hit the bedpost and Harley asked what's wrong. She said I'm just going to the bathroom. Why didn't she tell Harley the truth? It's no wonder why Harley couldn't testify against the man because of how secretive our star character had been. I don't think Harley was lying when she couldn't recall any wrongdoing.

I didnt know him all that well yet. He quit eventually anyway. There is another guy at work. He likes touching me. But, he asked me if I was ok with it first. I was honest and said it was ok. The fact that he first asked me first and the fact I have known him for a while I feel makes a huge difference in avoiding trauma or such. Plus he doesn't do it in a way that makes me feel uncomfy

I am literally crying this reminds me of the day I spoke out to my stepfamily telling my older cousin what his uncle (my stepdad) was doing to me it started off like what she explained the bed part, except the fingers in the mouth but you know the bottom of my nono square. And I was being so emotional just seeing that there are some girls who have to deal with this. It breaks my heart, and it was the day he got on top of me and had his thing in me and I was fully awake when he was doing it, I could not believe it was happening, I did not feel anything at first so I was scared and I was crying. Then I just remember moving up to push him off me and he just got up and it was really dark and he looked like a monster it scared me that all I said is Ima use the rest room and I was outside crying and debating telling the family praying and asking for help and that I am tired of this he had always done this to me even when I was young and the day my mom moved to Garden Grove, he stopped for like a good 7 1/2 years until my mom's boyfriend was drunk and high and so was my mom and the people they were kicking it with, and he killed his own cousin to save my mom that was getting beat up by him, but just to let you know my mom was fighting her boyfriends' cousins lady and ever since he stabbed him multiple of times, my mom could not get that out of her head, so she would get drunk and get high and was being someone I did not know and was worried for her, my step dad took the kids from her and I watched that happened and it literally tore my heart apart I was not wanting to go to school afraid of crying and being so angry of what was happening so I skipped it and my mom was having gangsters who would secretly took advantage of her and she would always make sure no one would come to my room and I barely well recently found out that when she couldn't support me, she wanted me to be with my siblings that I love and I was pissed cuz I was going to be with the monster from all of my life, but she wanted me to happy and it she thought it was safer and went back to the home we lived in to get beat up to gang bangers and neighbors told my mom side of the family that she would scream in pain in and out new people would come and trash the house. I cried bc she was literally a good person. And the day she left me to my stepfamily, that's when things were kind of innocent until my stepdad started saying inappropriate things to me and touching me. I wanted to leave to run away and was not caring that I was going to be homeless, all I wanted was my mom and my siblings, but besides that, there was a longer story than that, but my stepfamily did not believe me at first when I told them and my step-grandma told me not to say anything bc she doesn't want her son to be in jail, and I was crying she goes to church tells us to never do anything bad and to see her wanting me to cover up for her son made me trapped alone and wanting to leave life period. Until I had a plan and it was to go to Santa Ana and find my mom but I would have to leave my buddy my little sister and my other little sister and my little brother. They all looked up to me and did not know what I was going to do. And I remember I did not return home on Thursday and that was not the plan, the plan was leaving for Friday, but instead I slept in my friend's van and got ready in school and I had to go to the first period to tell my chemistry teacher I have to go to Santa Ana for wrestling bc we were. And I thought since it was Friday, I could tell my Wrestlign coach since I have gotten really close to him he was literally a hero to me and once I told him since he asked y I thought y not tell him I'm leaving anyways, and it took a turn after the match ( btw I was so happy I was a freshman and to get 2nd place was sooo good) but my step family were looking for me and were there to get me and I ran to my coach and he made sure I did not leave with them so I went back to my school, went to a Casa shelter for run aways meet a lot of really good people who did not deserve to be there, then a week passes, I went into orange wood and now I am in foster and I am currently a sophomore, and I still do not live with my siblings but I have visits with them which are nice but breaks my heart to see them leave, I did not want to press charges cuz my two younger siblings love their dad and my buddy hates her dad for what he has put me threw. I love it a lot and yea, felt like I needed to share this and wanted to hear other's stories, but I am trying and cant type right, but yeah.

I am a survivor of sexual abuse as a child so I know what it's like not to be believed by people you thought would stand up for you the most.
His sister and I came forward years later and he was convicted.
Years later my best friends daughter called me crying uncontrollably saying her own grandfather had touched her when she slept at his house last night.
The worst part was no one believed her except her mother.
Her uncles said she was lying ect.
I believed her straight away and told her word for word....
What others believe will not change what happened. It hurts more than the actual act but they will see the truth eventually.
We need to go to the police and we need to focus on you right now!
When the police arrested him he admitted to it all.
    Her uncles were stunned.
1 still doesn't believe her while the other apologized and vowed to never speak to his father again.
I knew her grandfather and he was the most kindest love man I ever knew. So I can see how his own children found it hard to believe.
Sometimes it is easier for people blame the victim because you just can't accept that your loved one can do something so horrible.
It is wrong yes....but it happens way to often.

For 10 years of my life I was going through sexual abuse from my own step-father....
my mother didn’t know until my sister spoke out that she was
also going through sexual abuse from him...
for safety measures my mom asked me if my stepdad had done
something to me too, and for some reason with
no hesitation I screamed yes! I don’t know what came over me...
Suddenly my mom ran out of the room crying. I thought I did something wrong,
That is was my fault it happened.
I thought that I should have said anything because I ruined my mom’s relationship.
I started crying hysterically my dad tried to calm me down but I just couldn’t stop crying.
Soon after I told them what happened...we decided to get some rest. Of course
I wasn’t tired but I obeyed my mother. In the morning at 5 am I heard someone on the phone. I
Recognized that it was my mother, but I heard something that I will never forget... she was
crying and saying that her husband was sent to the hospital with a gun shot wound in the head!
I immediately opened my eyes. She was shocked to see that I was awake. I muttered “what?” My mother
Knew that she had to tell me, so she held my hand and softly said that
my stepdad shot himself in the head....
