I don't care for salted rim either. My Margaritas and Palomas use pure, clean ice from my ice maker which is fed via my R/O water filtration system which is fed via my well-filtered water. So, no chlorine or other city additives. Huge improvement in flavor.
The cocktail shown is delicious to be sure. I prefer adding a bit of fresh orange juice. I have to say I like the idea of diluting the agave nectar and I am going to try it.
One of the best añejos for $100. The only one that can top it is El tequileño añejo it's about $80 and man is it delicious. Definitely have those 2 in my collection. Fortaleza añejo is hard to Come by. Thank God I just picked up 4 bottles here in CA
@@edgarvargas6764 I tried the tequileno anejo, fantastic anejo and gives Fortaleza a run but I still prefer Fortaleza slightly for the finish and slightly more butterscotch note. Thanks again for recommendation! Salud
I am a long time single malt drinker who began exploring why there were no scotch-like Tequilas. After several years of research, I am happy to report that there are, and Fortaleza is one of the best I have discovered. It is affordable and the Resposado and Anejo drink like cognac. But skip the Margarita (why pollute good Tequila?).
I see what you are saying and personally would need a little convincing or have it free of charge in order to try it anything but neat. However, if you were to make it into any cocktail, I think the question becomes does it make the cocktail that much better rather than does the other ingredients pollute the tequila.
Using Fortaleza for a margarita is a waste of good tequila. Find some cheap tequila to make your mixed drinks, Fortaleza should be sipped just as is neat.
They really really don´t know the craft of making tequila. Use some Tequila Cuervo or any of those to mix it. Also there´s a special tequila to do that, not the "100% agave". Hipsters, man.
@@jessg.9368 Yes, you can. My opinion is just my opinion. People are free to do whatever they want with it. If it made me happy to pour Fortaleza down the drain, then that's what I would do with it.
The best tequila ever, even my wife drinks it. I’ve got a bottle or two in my snug. Love from England
And greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Cheers from Los Angeles mate! I need to go to Liverpool
Probably still the best tequila til this day!
Please bring it to Canada! Specifically Ontario.
Please.

The Sauza’s came to Mexico in late 1780s.
The shake is amazing!
Cheers amigo!

Hopefully Fortaleza will be available again in my area soon !!

By Sauza?
My brother who lives in Tequila Jalisco says Tequila Fortaleza is made by Los Abuelos although Guillermo E. is from the family Sauza.
Yes, same thing he said but in a different way. He is the grandson of the Sauza Family.
He does not salt the rim ?
That is a classic margarita. Have you ever tried adding a healthy sliver of roasted jalapeno?
It's actually a riff on the traditional. Tommy's margarita subs out the orange liqueur for agave nectar. Both are delicious.

Most reposados actually rest in used barrels that had scotch in them.

Or... I can drink my tequila however I want....
It’s their money….I can’t stand people like you lol

Hahahahahahaha... you just don´t mix a good tequila with ANYTHING! Come on, dude. 😂
To prepare margaritas or other stuff just use Tequileño. Fortaleza is a good tequila to be enjoyed as it is.
Wow. Making margaritas using Fortaleza. What a waste.
You can drink it any way you want .. that’s why he used blanco ..

What do you make yours with?
@@jessg.9368 Nope nope nope. You have to learn about Tequila or Mezcal, dude. Sure they just drink it with shots like any foreign in spring break.
eww.... flavored water.😒 That's why I don't drink at bars or restaurants.
I live in Mexico and here men don't drink margaritas.
Yeah they drink cheap ass Jose Cuervo
@@XxChuyoxX Are you FOS or just talking out of your burro?
Men know what they like, even if it is a bomb ass Margarita. They don't care
Men in the USA don;t rink margaritas either.. Only those known as "soyboys."
If you are so worried about being manly that you let it control what you drink, you haven't grown up yet.
I would really enjoy and be able to follow your video so much more if you could just stop saying BASICALLY !!!
