Oh wow, this has exploded recently! Thank you so much everyone for checking out the channel and special thanks to all the new subscribers. I'm an Irish guy who uploads regular TF2 commentaries - you might have seen some of my older TF2 x10 videos before. For those asking for the server IP and the map name, the relevant links are in the description, along with a bunch of other cool things. This map was played specifically on Luigi's TF2 x10 Custom Maps.

I just tested it. It takes 14:55 from cart spawn to the cap point, uninterrupted.

I am almost out of ink and I can see the top. But it just keeps appearing and disappearing. Am I going insane.

I recently discovered a large supply of emergency rations, as well as an extra notepad and pen inside the mobile dispensing unit. Perhaps if this was discovered sooner, the scout and heavy would still be with us, and with the added speed, we might have arrived by now. One can only speculate.

all the food and rations have run out, and I feel like skin and bones. Maybe I'm insane.
It took like straight 15 minutes to cap at full cart speed when I played this map.

You need to be lucky to be on the server by yourself. I was in for 25 minutes before someone showed up. Another 5 before the trolldiers rolled in.
I recorded myself doing it; it's public on my channel. The video is 15 minutes long and I was capping as a Demo with no Pain Train.
When you cap the point, the part that actually makes the cart blow up should be it falling all the way back down and then it like blows up basically the entire map
Like the Tower of Terror, but there are no safety restraints and the elevator is a nuke. Or basically, Dr. Strangelove.
The tower just collapses and all the mercenaries just float down for 3 days

I really wonder how much fall damage you would take if you fell off the top of the Highertower
Fall damage is based on percentage of a Class' max health, with the highest being ~60% of their health [however, if I'm understanding what the TF2 Wiki says correctly, there is a bit of RNG deviation, making the absolute max ~80%. IF I'm understanding the Wiki correctly]
Fall damage is calculated based off from your velocity.
The faster you fall, the higher fall damage.
In theory, you will crater even at full hp of 200 or even 300 if the velocity is high enough.

Just a near-infinite spiral where each of RED's "final" spawns transition into the next "initial" BLU spawns. The actual BLU spawn is at the bottom and the actual RED spawn is at the tippy-top. The normally open areas are also caves because of the upper level, but you can still fall off into the lower areas.

It's quiet, the blue team is just letting you cap for some reason. You're very high up now, almost there.
You breach the top of the evenhighertower to see a ranchorelaxer and a level 3 sentry.
It's over and the cart is plummeting back to the ground as you respawn.

Believe it or not, I’ve capped on Highertower. *Twice.*
All I did was go Pyro, get on the elevator, and airblast this Demoknight who kept charging at me trying to kill me. He tried it like 20 times, but I kept blasting him away. After like 10 minutes, I managed to cap. And I did the same thing again, but without the Demoknight. He gave up.

I capped on this map today with almost whole team. Best feeling ever
And so the RT legacy begins.
- Doublecross, but both pathways are miles long
- Sawmill, but the entire map is made of saws
- 2fort, but the forts are gone
- Frontier, but the train has like, 30 platforms instead of one
- Hydro, but the matches last more than 15 seconds
It takes 14:55 from where the cart spawns to where the cart caps with one person. 30 seconds less with a Scout/Paintrain.

Everyone hated when people were capping on HT. Now you cannot cap because:
1: You are bored as hell
2: When you are at the last 3 segments of the tower someone jumps on the cap platform and kills you
1:47 "How do we fight this guy?" sounded a lot like "How do we fight the sky?" and I think that's beautiful.
Also just the gravity being all screwy at around 1:32 is arguably the best moment
Cripes, imagine trying to play a 'for real' game on this map.
It would be like vanilla Alterac Valley in WoW - you could play, leave, come back after a night's rest and get put back in the same unfinished game again.
It would basically be GG if your team's teleporter got destroyed. What would be the meta for this map? How would you even win?
